:There is a Resolution Policy that images cannot be over 1280×1280 as of September 2010. There are a few exceptions such as the ones uploaded before September and the game maps. I didn't make this rule, I'm just following it. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 00:16, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

Pattyman, Brandondorf9999 made several images too bright, could you revert it or is it remastered? --[[User:Cinday123|Cinday123]] ([[User talk:Cinday123|talk]]) 06:23, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
:They have all been reverted by Pikachu Bros. They weren't really remastered, just modified incorrectly. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 19:43, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
== Gen IV move animation speed guidelines? ==
Is there a standard speed for Gen IV move animations here? For example, Gen V apng files have a delay of 25/1000 seconds at 60 fps. I was planning on using a delay of 4/100 for Gen IV (these games are at 30 fps), as 5/100 looks too slow to me. I recently uploaded [http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Dig_IV.png Dig IV] and [http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Fly_DPPt.png Fly DPPt], which both use a 4/100 delay during the execution of the move and the text, which is set to medium speed in-game. If you are not the best person to ask about this, please direct me to them.
P.S. is there a way to link directly to archive file pages - like a version of {{template|bp}} for the archives, or is what I did above the only way? Thanks! [[User:Jdthebud|Jdthebud]] ([[User talk:Jdthebud|talk]]) 10:12, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
:Both of the moves looks fine to me. As for linking to archive file pages, <nowiki>[[:File:</nowiki> is generally the way to do so. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 19:43, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
== Rimu/Rena ==
Hi there, I have a request for moving a couple of files that I can't execute myself since I'm not autoconfirmed on the Archives yet. I came to you since you're a Junior Admin here. It concerns the files of the CotD's Rimu and Rena. Their names were somehow switched when the files were uploaded. The file with the name Rimu depicts the character Rena and should thus be named Rena, while the files with the name Rena depict the character Rimu and shuld thus be named so. For reference you should check a sub of XY016 to see that I'm right.
On another note, in the episode it's said that Rimu's Pichu actually belongs to Rena in the same vein Dedenne actually belongs to Clemont. Rimu simply keeps Pichu in her pouch. That's why I would suggest keeping the file "Rena Pichu.png" as it is now.
Because this is kinda confusing I will summarize it:<br>
- Move Rena.png to Rimu.png<br>
- Move Rena Dedenne.png to Rimu Dedenne.png<br>
- Move Rimu.png to Rena.png<br>
- Keep Rena Pichu, png as it is
Thanks in advance! [[User:Blazingfist|Blazingfist]] ([[User talk:Blazingfist|talk]]) 20:06, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
:I checked the subs and you're correct. I got them fixed. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 20:35, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
== File renames ==
If you have a chance, could you move [[:File:Victory Road 1F E.png]], [[:File:Victory Road B1F E.png]], and [[:File:Victory Road B2F E.png]] to the same name but without the "RS"? These are Emerald-only maps, and I recently uploaded the RS versions, which have a few differences. Thanks in advance, [[User:Schiffy|<span style="color:DarkGreen">Schiffy (瀬藤健二)</span>]] ([[User talk:Schiffy|Talk]] [[Special:Contributions/Schiffy|Contribs]]) <span style="cursor:help;" title="This is when my words were heard">17:05,3/24/2014 (UTC)</span>
:Done. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 00:15, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
::Okay it just occurred to me that there's alot of files named with "RSE" that might only be one or the other due to the amount of graphic changes. I'm just not gonna bug you with those then. I still plan to upload whatever I find, but yeah, moving them all might not be necessary. [[User:Schiffy|<span style="color:DarkGreen">Schiffy (瀬藤健二)</span>]] ([[User talk:Schiffy|Talk]] [[Special:Contributions/Schiffy|Contribs]]) <span style="cursor:help;" title="This is when my words were heard">01:06,3/25/2014 (UTC)</span>
== RS and E differences ==
So, as I said in the section above, there really do seem to be a number of minor differences between maps from the paired Hoenn games to their successor. Mainly, these differences seem to be entirely in the form of graphic updates, to the point where if you look closely enough, the ground in the entryway of New Mauville has an ever so slightly different pattern. In your opinion, is it even worth uploading differences like this, or would it make more sense to only focus on differences in layout like with Pyre and Victory Road? [[User:Schiffy|<span style="color:DarkGreen">Schiffy (瀬藤健二)</span>]] ([[User talk:Schiffy|Talk]] [[Special:Contributions/Schiffy|Contribs]]) <span style="cursor:help;" title="This is when my words were heard">16:22,3/25/2014 (UTC)</span>
:It would make sense to upload the images since it does count as a change between games. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 22:20, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
== Gen IV move animations - version differences and other issues ==
Hi there, as you know I am currently working on getting all the Gen IV moves animated.  I have run into a couple issues.
:'''1.''' I am attempting to get a better animation of [[:File:Transform IV.png|Transform IV]], however I can't get it to animate as the current file shows.  More info on that file's talk page, but basically I see an instant backsprite replacement with no pixely transforming. And yes, animations are turned on, of course.
:'''2.''' I am not really seeing a difference with Rock Smash in [[:File:Rock Smash IV.png|DPPt]] and {{red link|File:Rock Smash HGSS.png|HGSS}}.  I recorded it in Pearl, Platinum, and HeartGold. They have not been made into animated .pngs yet so I can't show them to you, however, I saw that you were the one to move them to their current filenames, so I am wondering if you know exactly what I am looking for there.
:Thanks! [[User:Jdthebud|Jdthebud]] ([[User talk:Jdthebud|talk]]) 07:06, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
::I am not sure what to do about no. 1. As for no. 2, I moved them as the file names were a mess back then. After seeing them both, I saw that their animations between the two sets were the same. They were probably different because of how the image showed them as a majority of them weren't animated. You can choose which one you want me to move to Rock Smash IV and the other one will be tagged for deletion. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 18:02, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
:::Ok, I replaced the DPPt version and put a move tag on it, then tagged the HGSS one for deletion.  As for Transform, who should I talk to about that? [[User:Jdthebud|Jdthebud]] ([[User talk:Jdthebud|talk]]) 21:50, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
::::You should speak to Masatoshi about Transform. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 22:14, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
:Back to animation differences - Pursuit, Sing, and Ice Fang also do not seem to have any animation differences, so I am tagging the HGSS versions for deletion. [[User:Jdthebud|Jdthebud]] ([[User talk:Jdthebud|talk]]) 20:34, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
::Okay. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 01:54, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
== Image Questions ==
Hi there, I am planning on converting {{redlink|File:Battle_Frontier_GenIV.jpg|this image}} to .png, but am unsure if I should leave the current size as is, or scale it down to 1280 px.
Also, what's the best way to get correct-size game maps such as the one needed for [[:File:Silph_Co_1F_GSC.png|this one]]? [[User:Jdthebud|Jdthebud]] ([[User talk:Jdthebud|talk]]) 18:12, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
:You can scale it to 1280px. I went on vgmaps to get game maps. I don't think you find the Silph Co in GSC there. [[User:Pattyman|Pattyman]] ([[User talk:Pattyman|talk]]) 01:27, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

Latest revision as of 03:26, 2 September 2014

Screenshots

This version of BW064 header was indeed better than the one we had earlier. Yes, there was a logo but there was a huge difference in the quality of both revisions. So, a "bad image" template is rather preferred in that case, instead of reverting it. ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 12:17, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I understood that the quality of that image was better than the previous one, but it kind of went two ways. Pattyman 19:24, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

Anime moves

As a general rule, move images from the anime shouldn't be animated. A still screenshot or two is more than enough for the vast majority. Even three still images is fine. It's not until the move gets really complex that we should consider animation. Werdnae (talk) 05:48, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

True but I'm not planning on animating them all, any of them that are complex as you mentioned. What about ones that take up the whole template (the maximum is four images)? Pattyman 06:03, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

EToP move images

My good Bulbapedia friend Littlmiget123 is currently bringing up to code the Electric Tale of Pikachu move manga templates, many of the are being left without any images. Could you upload those which are missing and those which will be missing after they are created in the near future? Thanks.
Plus, some Adventures manga templates are also missing images. I don't know which manga you have access to, but I tell you this: I hate seeing any pages in the Category of "Moves used in the manga needing images". I know, it's a lot of articles, but do the best you can. Thank you once again. --FinnishPokéFan92 09:20, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
I already left this same message for Ataro, but since he hasn't done anything yet and I'm a bit of a hasty, I also left this message for you. Hope you understand.

I have access to both EToP and Adventures. Knowing Ataro, I bet he is already finding some. Pattyman 16:23, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Deletion tag

Just add the deletion tag to pages, please. Don't replace the page's content with it...even if it is a redirect. It would be helpful to see where the image went when the page is deleted. MaverickNate 19:53, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

Err

How do I place an image in a category? (I feel embarrassed to ask this).--Hikaru Wazana 20:10 - 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Simply type [[Category:whatever]]. The whatever is the character in the image, as I did with the laughing Typhlosion image that was uploaded earlier. You did the right thing by asking me. Pattyman 20:16, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. ^_^ --Hikaru Wazana 20:20 - 20 February 2012 (UTC)
You're welcome. :) Pattyman 20:31, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

gifs

Not all gifs need to be made into pngs. Images for which the animation is crucial or highly important to the image must animate in all browsers, and therefore cannot be pngs. Werdnae (talk) 18:43, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

Shoot, I didn't know those maps were supposed to stay as gifs. Oh well, better luck next time (for me). On the bright side, at least I ended finding some of the maps that were not categorized correctly. I think the pngs that were uploaded aren't needed then. Pattyman 01:07, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

Thank you

For all your hard work and efforts, thank you so much. Lately, you have been doing a really great job whether it is about moving stuff or editing categories/summaries. Yes, sometimes you do make some mistakes but that is just a part of learning. I really appreciate it, keep up the good work :) ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 16:28, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

Help

Hi Patty, I see you're an administrator, and I could use your help. I have an image for Ten'i_Village, but it won't upload. I upload it, and I have to modify its description. I click submit, and check the recent uploads. It doesn't show up. It doesn't show in my contributions. I could use some help. Thanks! --Skymin23 01:12, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Never mind, I got it to work. Thanks though.--Skymin23 01:23, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
You're welcome. Might have been naming issues. Pattyman 01:24, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Help again

Hy, it's me again. I made an upload from one image of May's Eevee and not seen that file name is much longer. How i made another edition with better name??--Hikaru Wazana 00:10 - 22 March 2012 (UTC)

The file name has to be moved (unfortunately, admins are only allowed to do that). I just fixed the problem though. If you want to request a better file name, you can place the {{move}} tag on the page and the name you want (has to make sense). Pattyman 00:23, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
Ok, well, thanks again. ^_^ --Hikaru Wazana 00:25 - 22 March 2012 (UTC)
You're welcome. Feel free to ask any questions if you're stuck, that is what we are here for. Pattyman 00:27, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

RE: ppm pokemon

my scanner is down. there is no plan to buy a new one yet... although i will try to get one soon. -Pokeant 15:07, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Sorry to hear about that. Pattyman 15:27, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Heads up

Don't forget to double check the image usage in case if they are being used on Bulbapedia or Bulbanews. I do check them before deleting but still, it is nice to double check them in order to avoid the ugly broken links. ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 17:44, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

I am having trouble editing on Bulbanews, it says that I don't have permission to edit pages in the Page mainspace (despite seeing some broken links on there). Bulbapedia, I am fine with. Pattyman 17:53, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
Oh, I can understand. Anyway, if an image needs to be fixed on Bulbanews, just drop me a message. ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 17:57, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Anime move screenshots

How you get them? They are in pretty good quality. Marked +-+-+ 15:42, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

I got them from the Pokémon.com site as screenshots. Pattyman 15:46, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Old versions

Hey Pattyman, can you delete the old versions of Bertha Hippowdon.png, Bertha Golem.png and Bertha Hippowdon.png. I mean those who I uploaded before. TheSeviper 16:21, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

I don't think I have the power to do that. However, I do have the power to hide revisions which is completely different from deleting them. Pattyman 17:27, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Help again:Returns

Hello, it's me again. I have tried to send this images but i don't have any results, i make any mistake?? [1] [2]--Hikaru Wazana 03:55 - 7 April 2012 (UTC)

The server needs time to sync them in. You didn't make any mistakes. Pattyman 12:18, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Ok, thanks again.^_^ --Hikaru Wazana 12:35 - 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Nope, I don't have an AIM account yet*. However, if you want, you can PM me on the forums. Pattyman 02:18, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

File

Then what did they meant ? I've already uploaded a jpg version and replaced the png.s on bulbapedia with it. What should I do then ?----DJWolfy 18:17, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

They wanted an image that is from an official source (one that were allowed to use), not from the jpg that was uploaded on the archives. Uploading the png from the jpg can make the image look bad. They weren't asking for a jpg. I was going to fix the reason to make it clear but I had to do something else at the moment. Sorry for the mix up that happened. Pattyman 23:33, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for resolving my inquire. There is no problem. I've already reverted my edits.----DJWolfy 13:27, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Category:Overworld Trainer sprites

Just noticed that adding the category via template makes them sort... different way. About 136 files to fix to the new way. >_> Or do it different way... but now the only I can think of is to add the category into template. Marked +-+-+ 08:19, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Ok then. Pattyman 18:40, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Gen III OD sprites of Pokémon.

I am just uploading them. The only problem is that Vigoroth (and Machoke in RS) doesn't have a sprite that shows them in front, neither they rotate upon interaction. They only have side sprite and back sprite for overworld (some, like Rayquaza have only front sprite as far as I know, but eg. Pikachu has all four - front, back and both sides' sprites). Marked +-+-+ 18:53, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Aren't those the sprites that you see when the player character is interacting with a Pokémon (such as the case with Regice in Island Cave)? I'm not asking where you got them from. Pattyman 19:22, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Yes, they are. As most can turn (eg. Regis can't turn), they should be OD sprites. I've checked dolls, and they are different. I have got them from games, though some could be unused. There are some in FRLG, too, like Doduo's (or Dodrio's, I don't remember which one). Marked +-+-+ 19:31, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
There was a Doduo on Two Island back when I was playing the games (it is still there). Where did you get the idea about the Vigoroth as I only saw the Machoke helping out the player character's house? Pattyman 19:55, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Machoke are replaced by Vigoroth in Emerald. "Vigoroth move boxes into Brendan's or May's house instead of Machoke" Marked +-+-+ 20:06, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Sure. Pattyman 20:14, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Still not clear which one to upload. Back sprite or sides' sprites? Since there are two out there for both Machoke and Vigoroth, and couldn't find more. Marked +-+-+ 20:16, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
I would go for their side sprites as you can see part of their faces. The back ones don't show the face. Pattyman 20:51, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Quick question

Hi. This question has probably been asked before, but I'm utterly clueless on the Archives, so I'd appreciate if you can help me anyway. I used this image to draw a map of Ash's travels through the Orange Islands (using PowerPoint). Is it okay to use existing images like that? Bulbajer 00:57, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

As long as it is not fanart, then it is fine. Pattyman 01:02, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
Okay, thanks! Bulbajer 01:04, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

Question

for the edits you made to File:Spr_b_4h_255_f.png and File:Spr_b_4h_255_f.png, can you explain to me what/why you did that so that I can understand? I'm confused by it. G50 01:07, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

I meant Spr_b_4h_012_f.png for one of them. G50 01:09, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
The Candidates for moving category was getting too big so I removed the tag on some of them to prevent server strain. Don't worry, they are still going to be moved from time to time. It is just that we had to deal with important stuff first. The same applied for the Candidates for deletion category. Pattyman 02:26, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Okay, I understand. G50 02:34, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
I do appreciate the hard work you're doing. Pattyman 02:37, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Uh... G50 is doing what she was told to (I know because I told her to). {{move}} and {{delete}} are not to be removed unless there's a valid reason for them to, G50 has rather valid reasons for adding the templates. Leave the "server strain" decisions to the senior staff. Masatoshitalk 04:11, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
There was a time that it happened. I'm not perfect. Pattyman 04:15, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
That was when we had a huge number of images to move (move images in one case) and we already knew we needed to move the so tagging them was pointless and just straining the server. Otherwise it was just when we already had plenty of work to do and you were just adding more moves to our list. A large move category doesn't actually strain the server at all, it just stresses the admins. --SnorlaxMonster 12:56, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
At least I'm not like that now. Just curious, the sprite images (the ones with the Spr b in the file names), are they separate from the regular images? By the way G50, if Masatoshi told you about placing the templates, then go for it. Sorry about the misunderstanding that went on. Pattyman 16:58, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
No problem. If you mean Spr_b_#b_###.png instead of Spr_#b_###.png , the sprites with b in front are back sprites. G50 17:02, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Yep, those. Pattyman 18:05, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

DPA Mars & Zensho Satoshi

Please keep in mind that, while png is often the preferred file format, quality always comes first.

  • In regards to DPA Mars, a color image taken from a volume's front or back cover is preferred over a black and white shot taken from a page within a volume.
  • As for Zensho Satoshi, a clean color shot is preferred over a rather blurry black and white page scan.

I hope you understand, - Kogoro - Talk to me - 21:40, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Should I still upload those two as pngs using those requirements (without saving those jpgs as pngs)? The Zensho scans are blurry though so I wouldn't worry about the Satoshi image. By the way, thank you for your upload of File:Freeze Shock B2W2.png as an image from an official site instead of a fansite. Pattyman 22:32, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
If you can get a clean scan of equal or better quality than the current jpg files, feel free to upload them as png. Otherwise, just leave the current jpg files. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 01:15, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
I was successful with Mars but ended up avoiding Satoshi's. Pattyman 03:00, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Jaws

I posted a wrong picture of a character in the anime and had not seen it already had a better image in the library. How do I proceed? Sorry for the mistake.--Hikaru Wazana 21:45, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

The image has been reverted. Pattyman 22:32, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Official Orange Islands, Sevii Islands and New Island map

Hi, could you do me a favour? I found this map with the Sevii Islands, New Island and the Orange Islands. It looks like artwork from FireRed & LeafGreen although it's weird that the Orange Islands and New Island are there since they're anime only locations. I was wondering of you could upload it to the Orange Archipelago article since I clearly lack both the access and the knowledge needed to do so. Here's the map: [3] PokeAwesome94 (talk) 21:51, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

That is official. It's part of File:RegionsMoviesMap.jpg, which is an anime map of all the movie locations up to M10. --SnorlaxMonster 07:49, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
Do you think it's worth uploading? PokeAwesome94 (talk) 12:59, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
I think it should be. --SnorlaxMonster 13:13, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
SnorlaxMonster or Pattyman (talk) could someone of you or anyone else who reads this upload it? I lack both the access and the knowledge needed to do that. PokeAwesome94 (talk) 16:30, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Oversized files

Files uploaded prior to the introduction of the resolution limits are not subject to the limits unless they require replacement for other reasons. Please stop tagging old files as oversized. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 03:43, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

I didn't know. Pattyman (talk) 04:26, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Template:Location

Don't edit anything if you don't fully understand what you're doing. We weren't going to update the template until after uploading the necessary sprites. Masatoshitalk 04:44, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

It looks like I knew partially about editing the template when I gave it a try but I won't touch it for now. Pattyman (talk) 05:49, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Help

About you reverting my upload of PS366, can you keep the image, but upload a smaller one?--Igor Castro Chucre (talk) 01:17, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

I reverted it because it went over the 1280×1280 px limit. But, I'll be happy to upload the image. Pattyman (talk) 01:22, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

TCG

Don't touch the TCG cards... there are multiple edits that need to be made to those pages. Nuva-kal and Maverick Nate know of the system, and to an extent, I do too; if you want to be part of this project, first bring it up with either of them. ht14 00:03, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Ok then. I believe Jo The Marten and G50 know about the system too (unless requirements had to be met). For now, I'll stick with the Trainer sprites. Pattyman (talk) 00:13, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
Well, those were the two that came out of my mind first. Sorry to make it sound like it was super exclusive. And yeah, the Trainer sprites are fine. You're doing a great job. ht14 01:04, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
Not a problem, Nate was more common with the project anyway. Pattyman (talk) 02:14, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Ahem

Last time I checked, this is Black Kyurem. Whatever this move is supposed to be, it's clearly not Fusion Flare. Ataro (talk) 00:48, 21 September 2012 (UTC)

I rewatched the movie trailer and the move wasn't mentioned clearly when it was used, so it might be an unidentified move related with fire. Anyway, whoever placed about Kyurem using Fusion Flare in the articles ended up being wrong. Pattyman (talk) 01:44, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
I found this image on PokéWiki. Despite the description saying that Kyurem is using Flamethrower, I think it is using Fusion Flare. Can you confirm this? --Mikuri (talk) 02:30, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
I wouldn't say that move is Flamethrower yet as Kyurem can't actually learn it. Pattyman (talk) 18:11, 21 September 2012 (UTC)

Taging animation files

Hey, Pattyman. I was wondering if it would be alright to tag the Unova Route 20 Map[4] and other animations like it with the Bad image template for the arrow in the corner or is it alright for now? In addition, would it be alright to tag animations without the Region tag, such as the Weather Institute map[5] from the Hoenn region with the move tag? Super goku (talk) 03:26, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

You could go ahead and tag the images that have the arrow on the corner. As for the latter, since most of the images are gifs, it wouldn't be necessary to place the move tag on them. Pattyman (talk) 03:44, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Alright then. I shall go ahead and tag the animations with the arrow. Thank you for the response. Super goku (talk) 03:51, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
You're welcome. Good work for this task. Pattyman (talk) 03:53, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Well, it is one of the things that I can do. Super goku (talk) 03:54, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
These images also have grayed out cities/towns and are missing locations that aren't on the map by default like Unity Tower. --SnorlaxMonster 06:05, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Alright then. It looks like it will be Round 2 in a bit. Super goku (talk) 06:11, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Edit limits

Due to the server move, many of us are not editing or uploading images at this time. Please limit your edits until the move is completely finished unless it is important, such as renaming of characters/locations. Thanks! ht14 00:32, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I got too caught up with this category. Pattyman (talk) 00:41, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
That's never going to happen so long as we have massive uploads lying about... but I understand... just save it for later. I'm thinking of a new project as well. ht14 00:43, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
The server move is already completed and we've moved onto the testing phase. Feel free to work as normal, it's good at this point to put the server through its paces & will help us find any oddities and glitches that need repair. With that in mind, if you encounter any odd issues, send me a message so I can pass the information forward. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 22:24, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
That was quick. Pattyman (talk) 23:29, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

Images on Bulbapedia

For some reason, the images on the move templates on Bulbapedia don't show up; rather, they stretch the previous image or something else similar happens. How do you change that, or do you have to wait?--Hmdwgf (talk) 05:52, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the cdn updates itself. It's not like other parts where you can change the size of the image by a few pixels. I too had that problem when I uploaded a newer version of an image. Pattyman (talk) 05:58, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
Thanks! --Hmdwgf (talk) 06:16, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
You're welcome. Pattyman (talk) 18:54, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Ash's Pignite

Don't be ridiculous. The one I uploaded is not blurry, and this one is a lot better and cooler. The current one is a little awkward in the sense that it shows a derogatory type of captivation, whilst the one I uploaded shows a look of confidence and pride. I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 00:38, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

I will have to disagree as in contrast to the previous one, the image was blurry. The pose that Pignite is using is not a good reason to change the image. Pattyman (talk) 01:08, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
I think you are overreacting. It's barely blurry at all. Plus, why does it even matter? On Bulbapedia, we strive for enhancing the spunk and valor of the Pokémon series. But if we're just going to besmirch it by using weird pictures like the one for Ash's Pignite, we should not even bother. If my words come across as a mere lecture to you, that's your problem, not mine. But I hope you still consider everything I am saying when editing on Bulbapedia. I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 02:09, 11 March 2013 (UTC) (P.S. Sorry if I was a smart-Alec.)
I felt like stepping in. First, please control your tone, it's not cool. I can understand your frustration but calm down. Second, the image was chosen by the project anime's leader. If it was bothering you, you could have dropped a message on her talk page. Third, it was indeed blurry and there was a huge difference in quality. Therefore, Pattyman is not overreacting. Fourth, it matches with the new official artwork, not something mandatory but it looks nice. Another thing, we already have an image with Ash and Pignite in it. A solo image is rather preferred over a group shot in this case. You are not a bad user and I can see your point, but it doesn't give anyone the right to say something like "If my words come across as a mere lecture to you, that's your problem, not mine". So, relax. AdynizWanna talk? 10:30, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
Glad that you stepped in, he wouldn't have listened to me if I kept talking to him. Pattyman (talk) 19:22, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
Oh, don't make me sick. I'm not stubborn. I was just trying to help the overall progression of this wiki. Look, I already apologized, so let's just end it all here. I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 20:55, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

Ash's Unfezant

Hey Pattyman, where did you get that image for Ash's Unfezant? I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 21:43, 17 March 2013 (UTC)

I got it here. Pattyman (talk) 21:54, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
How did you make it smaller without changing its quality? I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 01:32, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
I would recommend using Photoshop (if you have it) for the small decrease in size. That's what I did with the Unfezant image. Pattyman (talk) 01:38, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
Cool, thanks. I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 02:08, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
No problem. Pattyman (talk) 02:14, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

Oreburgh Gate map question

So, I uploaded the fixed image over the old image, twice actually, but the white lines remained which is why I uploaded it with another name. You switched around and said that it takes a while for the image to load. I don't understand something. On the Oreburgh Gate page, it shows the correct image, linking to the old name. When I click that image, this page ([6]) appears with the white lines still there. But when I go to the Archives page ([7]), the image appears correctly. How in the world is this possible?? Raykyogrou0 (talk) 14:46, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Usually, when a new version gets uploaded, the cache (or whatever it is called) doesn't recognize the upload right away. You can slightly change the size of it on the page(s) it is being used on to make it go to the new version. Hopefully this helped. Pattyman (talk) 19:09, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the suggestion, it worked on the layout picture of the same page which still showed the old picture. Raykyogrou0 (talk) 20:08, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
You're welcome. Pattyman (talk) 21:00, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Characters in filenames

Accented characters are fine in filenames, so I'm pretty sure macrons should be fine too. --SnorlaxMonster 15:58, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

If ō is considered a macron (according to my move of Gōgōto.png‎), what about ū since both of them are vowels with a line-thingy (whatever it is called) above them? Pattyman (talk) 16:28, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
The line thingy is called a macron. --SnorlaxMonster 16:33, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
Ok. Pattyman (talk) 17:20, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
By the way, the images that have the ū in their names are uu instead. Pattyman (talk) 17:38, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
I think we are overly careful with special characters in names. There actually isn't that much of an issue to begin with and there is a filter to prevent bad inputs like colons, but Zhen Lin has confirmed that accented characters like é are fine so macrons should be fine too. --SnorlaxMonster 03:48, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
Ok then. I have relied on using the accented e in filenames that have the word Pokémon in them anyway. Pattyman (talk) 04:25, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

Temporary images

I just uploaded new verions of Halsey's Watchog and Dewott. By "temporary", I mean that I'm going to upload a better picture as soon as I can get it, since the ones I uploaded recently are blurry and have sightly wrong colorations (the greens are to bright and the reds are too purplish). That is the reason I replaced several images uploaded by other people a week ago (June 23, mostly Watari Island and BW130 pictures to be exact), since these images also had that coloration. A good example would be the difference between this and this. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 05:06, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Tagging and categorizing images

Like the title implies, how do I tag and categorize images? I don't quite know how? Arceus101 (talk) 01:46, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

You have to put in a brief summary (describing the image). Next, you have to put in the copyright status that matches it and place [[Category:Noun]] on the bottom to categorize it with noun being what is in the image. Here is an example as seen here. Pattyman (talk) 02:16, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
So...did I do it correctly this time? Arceus101 (talk) 18:26, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
You did do it correctly. Pattyman (talk) 18:28, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

Masaharu's Pokémon and others

Hey Pattyman,

Can you upload the images for Masaharu's Ursaring? It's shown being defeated by Emerald's Sudowoodo in the scene after Professor Oak and Professor Birch talk about the missing Treecko and Pokédex. Also, there's a minisprite of Masaharu's Vileplume on the Trainer card when Emerald reads the information regarding his opponent. Finally, there are many Trainer classes that need to be updated with information about the Battle Dome. I'll take care of the edits; you could take care of the images. Thanks~ ht14 02:26, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Uploaded them. Pattyman (talk) 03:50, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Alpha Insect

It IS a fake. If you're gonna keep the file on Archives, perhaps you should upload those CoroCoro scans of those 'official' Pinsir and Heracross evolutions that will 'be' in XY, and don't forget about Regigas' Sky Forme too. --Relicant (talk) 16:54, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

Clair's Dragonite

I can't upload anything from BW137 yet because the place from where I got the pictures still hasn't published anything so far. As soon as I can, I will upload the images. Sorry. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 18:17, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

Come to think again, I'll better upload some slightly lower-quality temporary images if it's really necessary. I haven't do that just because I didn't want to spam the newest pictures with tons of uploads. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 18:21, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
I see what you're saying. I couldn't find some good quality images myself with the proper size. Pattyman (talk) 21:36, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

Can't seem to upload

I keep getting the message: "You do not have permission to create new pages." But, I can't seem to figure out the problem, I submitted images a while back just fine; what do I need to do? GamerGeek 00:04, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

There was a temporary message that Zhen Lin posted earlier about updating something (only went on for a few minutes) which was why future uploads/edits couldn't be done. Pattyman (talk) 02:34, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
Okay, it's been a couple of days, and I still keep getting that same message. T_T What should I do? GamerGeek 15:03, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
Nvm it seems to be working now (though I dunno if that's just a weird freak accident XD ) GamerGeek 17:11, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Image request

Perhaps an image similar to this (redlink deliberate) to replace the current image? Episode reference: AG015. Thanks~ ht14 14:37, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

Giving reminders

When giving people reminders regarding proper categorization or licensing, it's very important that you be careful with how you word the message. When reminding fellow Bulbagarden staff members, especially those who are of a higher position than you, you do not have the authority to give them anything beyond a friendly reminder. The message you left here crossed that line. Please be more careful in the future. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 06:09, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

Okay, I'll be more careful from now on. I am aware about George being a higher-ranking staff about me. What I didn't get was why he sent this message to me, I haven't changed anything on there, and several of his images were missing summaries and were not being tagged before and after I sent him the first message. I was going to let someone else handle the situation anyway if it continued. Pattyman (talk) 18:50, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

VS artwork permission

Hey, over on the Pokémon Wikia someone uploaded direct feed screenshots of Trainer VS artwork, and I'd asked for permission to use them, and they agreed, but if credit was given to the user. I wanted to ask as a staff member if we are willing to give the User credit for the files or if we should use them at all? --S2daam (talk) 11:19, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

I'll step in on this one, as Pattyman isn't of a rank high enough to give such permissions. We will not use anything submitted to Wikia, so the answer is no. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 11:42, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

Ah, ok, didn't want to just go ahead with anything without permission! --S2daam (talk) 12:02, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon

I'm finally done snapshooting this special. After having watched it back and forth about a half-dozen times, I never saw this scene. Gyarados only uses Hydro Pump twice in this special, and it is alongside Combusken each time. On top of that, there's something on Gyarados's head. I really don't think this image is properly labeled.

Also, some of the Mirage Pokémon's heads that appear over Mewtwo's body are missing, unlabeled, or unrecognizable. This one has an unknown head under Arbok (Archives don't have this, but I do). This one appears to have Rhyhorn under Tyranitar. This one has Walrein and some kind of toothless Ivysaur-looking thing. This one has two unknown faces at the very bottom (the scene's pan starts right there), and its upper torso (Archives don't have, I do) has two other vaguely reptilian heads. Basically, should I upload those, and what would I name them? Rhyhorn is the only dead ringer among the missing heads. --IWannaBeTheVeryBest 03:14, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

I would like to thank you for the effort you put in to getting the images. If I remember correctly, Gyarados didn't use Hydro Pump in the Togepi episode and the only episode Hydro Pump was used beside the Mirage Pokémon special was in Cerulean Blues, so the image definitely shows the scene from Cerulean Blues. As for the Mirage Pokémon's heads, I would only upload the known Pokémon's heads. Pattyman (talk) 06:08, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
You're very welcome. I forgot to ask 3 other things. Is there any need for a pic of Oak's Dragonite using Hyper Beam?
Mewtwo is listed as using both Focus Punch and Mega Punch, but of the 3 times it punches, only one is said aloud (the last, being Mega Punch). Focus Punch's description says it has light blue light and leaves a trail behind, while Mega Punch is white. The pic I uploaded would then be Focus, not Mega. Despite this specific punch being the second, meaning it was not named, it looks a lot like the final punch (Mega) instead of what it's labeled (Focus). The first punch, however, is much different, happening right after Dragonite's Hyper Beam. Mewtwo glows blue, flies up to Dragonite, and punches it, no white light at all. It's either Focus Punch or just a non-specific blow, just like the tail smack it does afterward (which isn't Iron Tail since it never glows white). I have pics of all 3 punches if you'd like.
Lastly, since the article's section uses wikicode I'm not familiar with, I think you should handle that. Many moves are out of order, so I listed them here, along with their images:
Mewtwo: Shadow Ball, Barrier, Focus Punch (?), Flamethrower, Hyper Beam, Iron Tail, Mega/Focus Punch, Solar Beam, Bullet Seed/Hydro Pump/Psybeam/Thunderbolt/Ice Beam, Quick Attack, Mega Punch.
Others: Sandstorm, Thunder Wave, Bullet Seed, Shadow Ball, Thunder, Houndoom's Flamethrower, Entei's Flamethrower, Steel Wing/Drill Peck, Protect --IWannaBeTheVeryBest 07:58, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
Focus and Mega Punch were used simultaneously as a combo at the same time, so the image is fine as is. Still, if Focus Punch wasn't called out, than it was an unidentified punch. As for Oak's Dragonite with Hyper Beam, you can upload it if you want but we do have a few AG images of Hyper Beam. I am going to take care of the coding for you. Pattyman (talk) 21:53, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
Used at the same time? Says who? I only put the / there because I didn't know which was being used. Not that it matters since it's titled "Mega Punch" and looks just like the announced Mega Punch. For that matter, how do we know that Steel Wing, Hydro Pump, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Solar Beam, and the Houndoom/Entei Flamethrowers are correct? They're never named in the dub, at least. Lastly, why are the attacks that transform Mewtwo's hand/s in the Other section? Wouldn't they belong more in Mewtwo's? Why is Solar Beam in both? --IWannaBeTheVeryBest 07:57, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
Forget what I said regarding the punches being used at the same time then. As for the moves not being named in the dub, if they were not named in the original version, feel free to remove them. The attacks from Mewtwo's hand are in the other section because the other Pokémon were also shown using it and Solar Beam was shown in both because it depicted both Mewtwo and Tropius using it. Pattyman (talk) 20:00, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

Rude?

I don't get what was so rude in the remark that you deleted. You made a mistake, admit it. I didn't say anything rude to you - just advised you to avoid such mistakes in the future. I didn't scold you or anything. I just told you that you make a mistake because... you made one. Don't act like a know-it-all if you're not sure about something. There's nothing rude in proving someone wrong in a polite way. Actually, what YOU did was rude because you refused someone's good advice despite being obviously wrong. Everyone who could read Kana could prove you wrong easily. Please be more humble, it'll really help you in your future life, believe me. --Maxim (talk) 18:16, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

Magical Pokémon Journey

Bless you. I have been wanting to replace those gif images since time but I have been too lazy to scan the pages myself ^^' --ZestyCactus 01:52, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

You're welcome. Some of the png header images are in Japanese and a few jpgs are in English so I'll leave it up to you regarding that. Pattyman (talk) 02:09, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
My preference for manga images is png over jpg when available, language doesn't really matter if it's Japanese, English or another language as long as the scans are good quality. --ZestyCactus 02:14, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
Ok. Pattyman (talk) 02:33, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

animated png thumbnails

Hi there, I was able to make this .gif file into an apng file and updated the .png image, but I can't get it to animate in thumbnail form, as the gif currently appears on the Evolution page. The other apng images around it do animate in thumbnail form, how does that work? Do apng files need to be below a certain size or something? - unsigned comment from Jdthebud (talkcontribs)

In order for images in the anime to animate properly, my best bet is have the image size itself below 200px. Pattyman (talk) 21:40, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
Okay, thanks. Would you recommend I make it smaller, or insert the image into the article at the current size? --Jdthebud (talk) 22:31, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
You should make it smaller. I tried inserting the image into the article at the current size and it did not animate. However, I would like to thank you (and Eridanus) for animating the Gen. III moves recently since I waited a long time for someone to do them. Pattyman (talk) 01:58, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I did a bunch of the Gen III moves a while ago, but never finished, so I just decided to pump it out. Biggest difference for me was that I found a GBA save file editor, which cut a lot of time on hacking the moves in. As for the current anipng image, it does animate if you change the code to a "frame" rather than "thumb", but the image is quite big. Can you maybe look at that and see how the size looks in that context? I don't know if there is a way to change the size with code and still have it animate :( Jdthebud (talk) 05:13, 24 February 2014 (UTC).
When I changed the coding from thumb to frame, even though the image was able to animate, the size was bigger than when I had it on thumb. Pattyman (talk) 01:17, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
Right, but is it too big for the article? Since I'm not really a fan of reducing the size/quality of the image. If it needs to be smaller, than I can change it. What would you say the maximum size of it can be, if so? Jdthebud (talk) 06:48, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
With the size it has now, it is too big for the article. 150 × 83 pixels is the maximum size for anime images to animate. Pattyman (talk) 20:23, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

OW animation in Gen IV

I believe the Fly OW animation in Gen IV should be separated into DPPt and HGSS. Can the current Fly OW IV.png file be moved to Fly OW HGSS.png? I am planning on uploading the Platinum Fly animation soon. Jdthebud (talk) 19:23, 26 February 2014 (UTC)

I got them both taken care of. Pattyman (talk) 01:17, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
Cool, thanks. I am curious as to whether you believe that Surf should be divided between DP and Platinum because of the slower Surfing speed in DP. I am going to separate HGSS either way, I was just thinking about whether we should have DP, Plat, and HGSS, or just DPPt and HGSS sections. I am leaning towards having all three, but wanted a second opinion. -- unsigned comment from Jdthebud (talkcontribs)
DPPt and HGSS sections will do. Pattyman (talk) 21:01, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
Alright, that's fine. Can you move the current Surf IV OW.png file to Surf HGSS OW.png, please? Jdthebud (talk) 01:21, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
Taken care of. Pattyman (talk) 02:02, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

image size limits

Why is there a limit of 1280 pixels on uploads?--Brandondorf9999 (talk) 00:09, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

There is a Resolution Policy that images cannot be over 1280×1280 as of September 2010. There are a few exceptions such as the ones uploaded before September and the game maps. I didn't make this rule, I'm just following it. Pattyman (talk) 00:16, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

Bright images

Pattyman, Brandondorf9999 made several images too bright, could you revert it or is it remastered? --Cinday123 (talk) 06:23, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

They have all been reverted by Pikachu Bros. They weren't really remastered, just modified incorrectly. Pattyman (talk) 19:43, 18 March 2014 (UTC)

Gen IV move animation speed guidelines?

Is there a standard speed for Gen IV move animations here? For example, Gen V apng files have a delay of 25/1000 seconds at 60 fps. I was planning on using a delay of 4/100 for Gen IV (these games are at 30 fps), as 5/100 looks too slow to me. I recently uploaded Dig IV and Fly DPPt, which both use a 4/100 delay during the execution of the move and the text, which is set to medium speed in-game. If you are not the best person to ask about this, please direct me to them.

P.S. is there a way to link directly to archive file pages - like a version of {{bp}} for the archives, or is what I did above the only way? Thanks! Jdthebud (talk) 10:12, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

Both of the moves looks fine to me. As for linking to archive file pages, [[:File: is generally the way to do so. Pattyman (talk) 19:43, 18 March 2014 (UTC)

Rimu/Rena

Because this is kinda confusing I will summarize it:
- Move Rena.png to Rimu.png
- Move Rena Dedenne.png to Rimu Dedenne.png
- Move Rimu.png to Rena.png
- Keep Rena Pichu, png as it is

I checked the subs and you're correct. I got them fixed. Pattyman (talk) 20:35, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

File renames

If you have a chance, could you move File:Victory Road 1F E.png, File:Victory Road B1F E.png, and File:Victory Road B2F E.png to the same name but without the "RS"? These are Emerald-only maps, and I recently uploaded the RS versions, which have a few differences. Thanks in advance, Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 17:05,3/24/2014 (UTC)

Done. Pattyman (talk) 00:15, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
Okay it just occurred to me that there's alot of files named with "RSE" that might only be one or the other due to the amount of graphic changes. I'm just not gonna bug you with those then. I still plan to upload whatever I find, but yeah, moving them all might not be necessary. Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 01:06,3/25/2014 (UTC)

RS and E differences

So, as I said in the section above, there really do seem to be a number of minor differences between maps from the paired Hoenn games to their successor. Mainly, these differences seem to be entirely in the form of graphic updates, to the point where if you look closely enough, the ground in the entryway of New Mauville has an ever so slightly different pattern. In your opinion, is it even worth uploading differences like this, or would it make more sense to only focus on differences in layout like with Pyre and Victory Road? Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 16:22,3/25/2014 (UTC)

It would make sense to upload the images since it does count as a change between games. Pattyman (talk) 22:20, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Gen IV move animations - version differences and other issues

Hi there, as you know I am currently working on getting all the Gen IV moves animated. I have run into a couple issues.

1. I am attempting to get a better animation of Transform IV, however I can't get it to animate as the current file shows. More info on that file's talk page, but basically I see an instant backsprite replacement with no pixely transforming. And yes, animations are turned on, of course.
2. I am not really seeing a difference with Rock Smash in DPPt and HGSS. I recorded it in Pearl, Platinum, and HeartGold. They have not been made into animated .pngs yet so I can't show them to you, however, I saw that you were the one to move them to their current filenames, so I am wondering if you know exactly what I am looking for there.
Thanks! Jdthebud (talk) 07:06, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
I am not sure what to do about no. 1. Pattyman (talk) 18:02, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
Ok, I replaced the DPPt version and put a move tag on it, then tagged the HGSS one for deletion. As for Transform, who should I talk to about that? Jdthebud (talk) 21:50, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
You should speak to Masatoshi about Transform. Pattyman (talk) 22:14, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
Back to animation differences - Pursuit, Sing, and Ice Fang also do not seem to have any animation differences, so I am tagging the HGSS versions for deletion. Jdthebud (talk) 20:34, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
Okay. Pattyman (talk) 01:54, 1 April 2014 (UTC)

Image Questions

Hi there, I am planning on converting this image to .png, but am unsure if I should leave the current size as is, or scale it down to 1280 px. Also, what's the best way to get correct-size game maps such as the one needed for this one? Jdthebud (talk) 18:12, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

You can scale it to 1280px. I went on vgmaps to get game maps. I don't think you find the Silph Co in GSC there. Pattyman (talk) 01:27, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
