Welcome

Welcome to the Bulbagarden Archives, Mikuri!

By creating your account you are now able to upload images to help Bulbapedia and Bulbanews. Before you jump in, take a look at these helpful tips:

  • Uploaded images must meet several requirements. Please see the upload form and/or manual of style before you upload a new image.
  • All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload. There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit.
  • Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily.
  • Personal images are no longer allowed. Any personal images found will be deleted on sight.
  • If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out.
  • If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or ask a staff member.
Thank you, and have a good time uploading here!

They go on the bottom of the page, after the summary. Thanks. ht14 22:16, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

I'll put them at the bottom from now on. Thank you! --Mikuri (talk) 22:28, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Overworld sprites

Just noting that they should be 32x32 (Gen III onwards) or 16x16 (Generation I and II), at least for humans (I guess if a eg. Pokémon's overworld sprite is 39x30, then you would make the entire file 39x39). Marked +-+-+ (talk) 13:17, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

Ok then. Thanks for the advice. --Mikuri (talk) 13:29, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

Datamined information

To avoid legal complications, please avoid uploading or editing in content that has not been officially revealed by The Pokémon Company before Sun and Moon's release date, including National Pokédex numbers. Thank you for your continued contributions! - Chosen of Mana 21:55, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

Sorry, I won't do it again. I thought it was okay to use National Pokédex numbers since there are pages on Bulbapedia being updated with information coming from YouTube videos. There are even screencaps from YouTube here in the Archives. And they're not from videos of the official Pokémon channel. --Mikuri (talk) 21:47, 28 October 2016 (UTC)

PG17.png

I noticed that the File:PG17.png you just uploaded is slightly different than the episode thumbnail (look at the position of Looker's arms). I understand why this is, it was a moving image after all so it would be hard to land on the exactly correct frame. Is this a difference big enough to require fixing or not? Just decided to point that out in case you hadn't noticed. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 18:40, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

Yep, I noticed. I just had trouble screen capturing the exact frame they used as the thumbnail. I don't think it's enough to warrant tagging it as a {{bad image}}, but if you or someone else have the correct frame, then by all means upload it. --Mikuri (talk) 19:59, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

They are crystal clear, can you send me a link if possible?--BigDocFan (talk) 16:55, 29 April 2018 (UTC)

Festival Battle

Oh dear, we've been uploading the same images--BigDocFan (talk) 17:03, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

Please check the upload log before uploading new images to prevent this from happening again. Also, you should always link to the episode page in the description when uploading anime screenshots. --Mikuri (talk) 17:13, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
