By creating your account you are now able to upload images to help Bulbapedia and Bulbanews. Before you jump in, take a look at these helpful tips: Uploaded images must meet several requirements. Please see the upload form and/or manual of style before you upload a new image. All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload. There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit. Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily. Personal images are no longer allowed. Any personal images found will be deleted on sight. If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out. If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or ask a staff member.

Image Sizes

Links and Categories

When uploading new images, please add the links and categories required for that image.--BigDocFan (talk) 08:53, 9 July 2022 (UTC)

How so? As in, like, add the proper link templates? I'm not too familar with the categories. I always add the categories. I always click on "Licensing" and "choose" "Screenshot from the Pokémon" anime. Or is there more to do than just that? HygorBH (talk) 20:53, 10 July 2022 (UTC)

If you have a look at similar images to the one you are about to upload, my advice is copy and paste the links and categories and edit it to fit your image--BigDocFan (talk) 21:06, 10 July 2022 (UTC)

Ash Buizel Ice Punch

Can I just check which episode you got the new image for Ash Buizel Ice Punch from, was it DP186 or another episode?--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 22:44, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Adding template to animated series uploads

Hi, thanks for improving our animated series images. When you upload them, it would be helpful it you could also add the animated series template at the bottom of the summary section. For example, with File:Drew Flygon Flamethrower.png, I've added {{i-Fairuse-screenshot-animated-series|AG|123|Rhapsody in Drew}}, corresponding to the epicode and name of the episode. This places it in series and episode categories which make it easier to find in future. Any questions, let me know! Thespeon196 (talk) 23:29, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

Double Summary Header

I've noticed when you upload new images, two summary headers appear instead of one, I think what is going on is when you upload a new image, you copy and paste the summary header into the description which isn't needed and results in the double summary headers if you get what I mean.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 02:47, 4 August 2025 (UTC)

I didn't even noticed. I just CTRL+C/CTRL+V images that have the animated fairlicense tag. I'll pay more attention from now on.

But, just to be sure, I shouldn't manually add the "== Summary ==" because one will automatically be added, right?

The upload form automatically adds a summary header if it does not detect one. However, it only detects one with the spaces, so if you use ==Summary== (without the spaces), it will add a double header. If you use == Summary == (with the spaces), the upload form will detect this as the header and not add a duplicate one. → SuperPikaPool13 11:05, 4 August 2025 (UTC)
