:::Alright. First of all, sorry for taking so long to reply. Now, I checked through every picture you uploaded, and I concede that all of them are legit errors. However, I checked these pictures with Kogoro just to make sure about whether including all of them or not. The ones that got deleted were not important enough, and she alongside Werdnae decided the following:
:::*No more than five error images per episode should be uploaded, unless an exemption is made by the Bulbapedia:Editorial Board.
:::*In the case of there being more than five images, the most significant and certain errors will be kept.
:::**Any other errors can be noted in the episode errors section, but without an image.
:::*Summaries need to be easy to read. Some of the summaries given might not convey the intended meaning.

Xerneas' MS
I was considering switching File:716AMS.png to :File:716MS.png, since its Active Mode seems to be the "default" form featured in most of its artwork, and the only form it takes in battle. == Question about Return Gen III move animation ==
Not sure if you are the best person to ask, but I was wondering what the policy should be in recording the Gen III Return move animation.  Since different levels of friendship result in different move animations, should I record all of them and put them in one file, or just one?  I believe Frustration has this same effect, although the one that is there now just has one animation playing. Jdthebud
:Whoops, sorry about the non-signing there.  Also, I am attempting to upload this image for the Dive Gen III animation.  It is over 2 MB so I am trying to link to it, but the Upload form just reloads when I try to upload it.  Image link --Jdthebud (talk) 22:20, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
::Well, I could be wrong, but I think that just showing one animation (highest friendship level) will be enough for now.  If we do end up needing more, we'll use those. Regarding the animated file, did you optimize it? That could trim its size if it hasn't yet. Otherwise, you could cut a few frames when May is underwater. If the issue remains after trying these suggestions, then I'll upload it for you. == Sprite gifs to png? ==
Do we want current animated sprites that are in gif form (Crystal, Emerald, Pinball, Trozei) to be anipng, or does it matter since the quality is the same regardless? Reason I'm asking is because I am going to make the Pinball animated sprites transparent, and they are currently in gif form. Also, none of them are tagged as needing to be transformed to anipng. --Jdthebud (talk) 00:42, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
:It's still a pending decision, so I wouldn't really know yet. But I'd think that we'd want that. I'd ask Kogoro whether it's going to be a future project or not, though. == Uploading move animations that are over 2MB ==
Hi there, I have been completing the new B2W2 move animations, and have several that are over 2MB in size.  Does the Source URL tool work in the Upload menu, or do I have to give it to someone else here to upload? Jdthebud (talk) 19:58, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
:Only the staff can upload images through the Source URL option. Did you optimize them? Sometimes that'll help trim the file a lot, like it happened to me before. If you did, then you'll have to ask us for us to upload the files. <span style="color: #3363FF; text-shadow: 1px 1px 0px #aaa">Masatoshi</span> <span style="color: #ED3B3B; font-family: Times New Roman;">talk</span> 02:10, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
::Yeah, I use Apng Assembler, which optimizes it automatically, and running it through the optimizer actually increases the size sometimes lol. So no way to reduce the file sizes, especially for the moves with more arty graphics like Nightmare and Sacred Fire, and long moves like V-Create. I may also try to get a better quality version of some moves I already uploaded that will be bigger since I took frames out of them to make it smaller.  Here are ones I have right now. Again, these are for B2W2 move animations.

Garchomp Mega Evolving image (large file size)
I uploaded a sample of Garchomp Mega Evolving, with the animation running at 5 fps. That was the best frame rate I could get and come under the Archives size limit, but it's kind of choppy. I'd like to offer some alternatives at higher frame rates and larger file sizes, so that maybe you (or someone) could upload a better quality file where I can't.
*First: full Mega Ring activation + Mega Evolution, at 30 fps. 24.2 MB. If you like this version over the versions below that don't include the Mega Ring, I can also offer 15 fps (12.3 MB) or 10 fps (8.2 MB) versions of this animation.
*Garchomp transformation only, at 30 fps. 13.8 MB.
*Garchomp transformation only, at 10 fps*. 4.6 MB.
*Garchomp transformation only (trimmed beginning and end frames), at 10 fps. 3.7 MB.
If there's some combination of/modification to the above that you'd like to see, just ask.
(All of the above start at the transformation's beginning, and don't have an "ideal" initial frame. If you tell me which version you're partial to, I can easily adjust that. Or maybe you can, with some program. I haven't done that myself, but I think there are supposed to be some that'll do that out there.)

:The problem with these images is that they are too busy and contain a lot of information. That will make the files too heavy even while optimized. While it's a good idea to animate these, we don't think we need these for the moment, especially since they are too heavy. We can allow animated images slight above the 2 MB limit, but going from 4 to 24 MB is too much and will take a toll on those who need to pay based on their internet traffic, not to mention that no image should be as heavy as this. Second of all, this looks like taken from YouTube and the quality is not high enough. If we were to try animating these, we ought to have a capture card device with us to have the best quality. Imagine how heavy the image would be if the quality was clean. A YouTube video showing how the Mega Evolution works would be the best solution for now, so I'm sorry for putting down your work like this. <span style="color: #3363FF; text-shadow: 1px 1px 0px #aaa">Masatoshi</span> <span style="color: #ED3B3B; font-family: Times New Roman;">talk</span> 20:48, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
::So even if I could get animations of some moves from the same or other YouTube videos at 30 fps and only slightly over 2 MB, that wouldn't be good enough quality to use? I actually made an animation for Mud Shot first, at 30 fps, and that was 20 KB over 2 MB (1 KB when optimized as much as possible, but that one took forever to finish). Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:57, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
:::Sorry, but I don't think we could work on that. YouTube videos are usually a series of jpg frames and receive quality loss, as opposed to getting the images from the game itself with a special capture device or program. == Speed of Emerald animated sprites ==
I have noticed that a lot of the Emerald animated sprites are faster than the in-game speed, such as Mudkip.  Is this intentional? == Rain Gen V Field image for upload ==
Hey there, I actually asked around about this several weeks ago, but didn't get a conclusion on this.  I was able to upload all the field weather condition images except for the rainstorm summoned by Thundurus/Tornadus in BW, as the resulting file is too big - the animation is about 4.5 MB due to a) 60 fps, b) high detail, and c) length of the animation. I did experiment with 30 fps, but he animation wasn't clean and the file size barely dropped anyway, even fully optimized. Are you able to upload this?<br/>As an aside on the type of rain it is, I originally thought it was a thunderstorm, but there is no lightning, so I decided it didn't fit with previous generations and reclassified it as Heavy rain instead.  FYI, the games say it's "stormy weather".  What are your thoughts on this?<br/>The file name should be "Rain V Field Heavy.png" (with Thunderstorm instead of Heavy if you think it should be a thunderstorm).  The summary should be a location template "Route 7 during heavy rainfall".<br/>Link: Gen V rainstorm<br/>Jdthebud (talk) 23:47, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
:So it seems that the file I have there shows a Hurricane instead - look at the Rain page for more info. I will upload a still image for now, so please upload over that if possible. ::I was able to upload a thunderstorm image, but it only shows one kind of flash - if multiple types of lighting flashes are more desirable (the one I have has a single then a double) it would be around 3.5 MB. == My aPNG is to big ==
Hi,
I made a video of Astonish from XY, which I first saved as a .mp4 (~1MB). Because after searching around I didn't find a program with which I could convert .mp4 to animated .png, I created a sequence of .png files (alltogether ~11MB) and then used the program, APNG Assembler, to convert that into an animated .png file - which then was 8MB. Obviously this is way to big.  Is there anything I did wrong? Or is there another way I totally missed? - Mr. Flix | My talkpage 00:34, 1 August 2014 (UTC)
:Hi. Great to see we have someone else who can help us with XY images! I'd need to know the details of your 8 MB file. Is there a site you could save it in? Imgur, Photobucket or any image sharing site, I would like to see what you have so far. Do you capture and animate both screens? Because we only need the superior screen and if you're capturing both, you can save a lot of space by cropping the files. <span style="color: #3363FF; text-shadow: 1px 1px 0px #aaa">Masatoshi</span> <span style="color: #ED3B3B; font-family: Times New Roman;">talk</span> 02:37, 1 August 2014 (UTC)
::Have you used APNG optimizer? It helps reducing the file's size, by removing redundant parts (You should do it at the very end, though, as an optimized animation makes it messy, due to the way program works).  For example, this file was about 536KB before it went through optimization. You should also include a first frame in the animation that's skipped in the actual animation (as I've done in the file, which is reflected by thumbnail), for the browsers that do not support anipng. Also, I am assuming you've used the 3DS capture card, right? If yes, you'll probably be asked by staff member to upload a specific screenshot, presumably a nicknamed Bulbasaur, as a proof of having it. Eridanus (talk) 08:22, 1 August 2014 (UTC)
:::Uploaded the image here. @Eridanus: Is there any APNG optimizer you can recommend?

::::Eridanus: While I appreciate you helping as well, please let me try to talk to him first, since he was directed here. Flix: As Eridanus said, you'd need to optimize your animated png files. This is the one I recommend. Just choose your OS and run it, you don't need to install it (as far as I remember). Drag the file into the executable file, and post the result. I'll see if we can use animated images for moves, or if we should stick to stills for this Generation. I'll be honest, though; with the background and the Pokémon moving, there are hardly any redundancies in those stills for the optimizer to get rid of. I hope I'm wrong. Also, please remember to sign your comments. :::::Ah, sorry, forgot the signing there, won't happen again. Your prediction seems to be correct, after optimizing the 8.45MB file, it was 8.73MB. Also, I just discovered that the abovementioned APNG Assembler has the options, 'Optimize palette' & 'Optimize color type', on by default, so I guess it was already optimized... - Mr. Flix | My talkpage 16:59, 1 August 2014 (UTC)
::::::So I checked, they really are optimized. These files are too large to be extensively used in Bulbapedia, so I'm afraid we'll have to stick with static images. However, the task will be easier now, gotta look at the bright side of things. == File naming ==
I plan to upload clothing images in the near future and I was kind of wondering about the naming scheme I intend. My intention is to use names like "Clothing Logo Cap Black.png" and "Clothing Logo Cap Blue.png". I don't really know how much "proper" capitalization is a concern here in the Archives, so I don't know if it's any sort of problem to have the colors capitalized like that when, in-game, they're all lowercase. But I want to use those sorts of names so it's dead simple for the clothing template to automatically form image names without the need for any new parameters (or any operations on the parameters, like changing the case). So are those sorts of names okay? Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:48, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
:Firstly, would you mind telling me where you intend getting these images from? <span style="color: #3363FF; text-shadow: 1px 1px 0px #aaa">Masatoshi</span> <span style="color: #ED3B3B; font-family: Times New Roman;">talk</span> 21:25, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
::From me. Photo spots show clothes just fine. The only thing that's not really possible is male bags. Tiddlywinks (talk) 22:03, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
:::Well... we'd rather have clean shots from capture cards, instead of taking them from photo spots, as they are saved in a lossy jpg format. <span style="color: #3363FF; text-shadow: 1px 1px 0px #aaa">Masatoshi</span> <span style="color: #ED3B3B; font-family: Times New Roman;">talk</span> 22:19, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
::::You're right. It's not "perfect" or "ideal". But it's far better than nothing (or even the prospect of nothing for months or years or whatever). Accepting photo spot images for the time being would also allow someone who actually has a capture card to prioritize other needed images over whatever shows up in photo spots. There's just too much that needs doing and far too few people willing and able to do it at the optimal quality to be that tight-fisted about it, IMO. Imperfect images can always be improved later.
::::So can I ask you to be a bit clearer about this "preference"? Should I absolutely not upload what I have, or I shall I go ahead with what I have and with the naming as I mentioned above? If possible/necessary, I would ask that you bring it up with general/appropriate staff and return a more or less "official" position for me. Please and thank you... Tiddlywinks (talk) 23:09, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
:::::Before giving my reply, I contacted Kogoro about this, and we both agreed that it would be ideal to obtain the models from capture cards themselves instead of having to resort to photo spots, as the capture cards will be clearer to take pictures from, as well as being able to capture every clothing model in detail from the stores. While it's true that we might not have enough people to help, we will eventually get to it; so there's no need to rush it, we have more important things to focus on right now. <span style="color: #3363FF; text-shadow: 1px 1px 0px #aaa">Masatoshi</span> <span style="color: #ED3B3B; font-family: Times New Roman;">talk</span> 23:45, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
::::::Reasons are all well and good. However, they do not necessarily answer my question. I think I know it, but assumptions leave room for mistakes or exceptions or...whatever, which I am loathe to allow. So, to be sure I understand: I absolutely should not upload my images of clothing from photo spots, correct? == X & Y Games and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire battle sprites ==
Many battle sprites of Pokemon in the four games that I mentioned in the headlines are missing from the Pokemon pages on Bulbapedia. It's too long for me to list, but you and Spriteit forgot to upload the remaining images for the four games mentioned in the headline. Do you think you can find and upload the missing battle sprites (You might have to look at each of the various Pokemon pages on Bulbapedia to know which pages are missing images? Examples of Pokemon missing battle sprites includes Gyarados and Steelix. The missing battle sprites (in national Pokedex order) start at the page of Venusaur and end at the page of Hoopa. Ctc1017 (talk) 02:25, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
:It's not that we forgot, it's that those were all the files that were available to us. I know what you mean, but we do not have the proper hardware to get the missing sprites from, which is why we need the help of users who do have a video capturer.
