To add to that
Please don't upload bad-quality pics like that. All anime pics have to be in the .png format. Never in any other format, especially .jpg. Why? Because .png is a higher quality picture format than .jpg. Keep that in mind. --Hmdwgf 22:51, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Pics with logos at the bottom
I don't think anybody told you this, so I'm going to tell you: Please don't upload anime pics with logos on them. Never ever do that. Plus, upload pics in .png format that are high quality and are larger than 200x150, not in any other format, inculding the .jpg format. It is so imperative you don't upload another pic like this. --Hmdwgf 23:03, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- OK. I got it. --FinnishPokéFan92 18:22, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think you do. Either you're ignoring me or you have no idea what a logo is. You're most likely ignoring me because you are also still uploading .jpgs. Just in case you don't know, a television station logo is a symbol that represents a broadcasting company. Such as a WB logo which was the American TV station Pokémon was initially broadcast on from 1998 - 2006. And one of the pictures you uploaded has that very logo on it. Stop uploading those bad pics, ESPECIALLY the ones with logos on them. I'm going to send you an e-mail with something useful inside it. --Hmdwgf 01:30, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- OK, I thought so. And what comes to jpgs, my image source has its images in jpg-form. --FinnishPokéFan92 13:44, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- If you could name me a possible image source besides bulbapedia, serebii.net and photobucket, I'd be glad to hear it. --FinnishPokéFan92 13:45, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- I can't do that, and most of the pics on serebii and photobucket are bad quality anyway. I sent you an e-mail with a legit website to convert .jpg pics into .png format. Did you get it?
- And you're still not listening to me. And you're not categorizing your images either ((just type Category: subject with two ['s and ]'s on each side) at the line below the description), you just uploaded a horrendous quality pic that is .jpg and doesn't belong on this website. Don't upload pics like the Muk's Sludge Bomb you uploaded, I replaced it. It's recommended that you do these things. P.S: Stop uploading pics like that. --Hmdwgf 15:15, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi
Please read the checklist when you upload media files, and be sure to tag and categorize all images. If you're confused about the requirements for uploading files, have a look at this guide. --ht14 18:31, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
Header images
When you upload a higher quality image for an anime header, please change the template from the temporary Bulbanews one to the proper header template. Ataro (talk) 03:35, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- Understood. Thanks for the information. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 15:44, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
Yellow Trainer Sprites
Generation I sprites, just like Pokémon sprites need to be 56 x 56 pixels. Please make sure to upload the sprites at these dimensions. ㄱ쉰 G50 06:18, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
Blocked
The Bulbagarden Archives has a firm stance against taking images from other fansites, including an important message about Pokémon X and Y images posted just before the re-opening of the Bulbagarden Archives. Since the six Mega Stone sprites you uploaded were all taken from another fansite, you have been blocked for a duration of three days per the details of the aforementioned message. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 12:29, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
Mewtwo's creators
I'd be glad to upload that image. I do have it, though the black-haired woman's face is slightly cut off. I think the image of their lab should still be present, though, so I'm going to rearrange their Bulbapedia page a little to include both. Glad I was of help. --The Great Butler (talk) 07:20, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
Anime screenshots
HD era screenshots from the anime should be no larger than 1280×720 pixels. Additionally, please do not upload extremely blurry images such as this. Thanks, - Kogoro - Talk to me - 11:47, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
XY015
Well, turns out that the 2014 preview was aired at the end of a 40-minute special recap for the XY series. The sceenshot I got for XY015 comes from a brief intro that aired before said recap, but it didn't have any new clips besides Chespin vs. Delphox a brief shot of Ash and Pikachu hugging from the Malamar episode. I haven't found a video for it, I got the footage because I downloaded it, but I think we aren't allowed to put download links here. The new scene was 2 seconds long, so you aren't missing anything if you watched the 2014 preview, though. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 20:15, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
XY020
Hey, Clemont's Dedenne in episode XY020 once again was playing cameo appearance, in some scenes it was absent completely. Also Furfrou and Heliolisk appear in this episode, but in a fantasy. Add this on this page this is one of a few episode where Dedenne makes cameo appearance, even though it is absent for every other part of the episode. There is also an error of Dusknoir's eye, when it fainted. Also, The title card segment focuses on Ash for this episode XY020. Pikachu65 (talk) 11:34, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
ORAS game locations
You uploaded a few images like File:Champion Steven room ORAS.png. I was wondering where you got those images. They're about twice as big as screenshots should be (to my knowledge, 400x240), and they even have inconsistencies in dimensions, which is odd for a screenshot. Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:30, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
- I must admit, I took them from various YouTube videos. I tried to take as good quality images as possible, but the dimensions were something I just couldn't affect. I hope this won't be (at least too big of) a problem. I just wanted the images to be uploaded, and they can always be updated. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:46, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
- At the very least, I don't think it's permitted to just "take" images from a YouTube video, unless you've explicitly been given permission by the uploader. But one way or another, staff will be the ones to take action if any is warranted. I totally sympathize with just wanting ORAS images, though... =P Tiddlywinks (talk) 21:18, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
Be Nice.
So you're aware, the code of conduct on Bulbapedia extends to the Bulbagarden Archives as well. This message is very rude, is in clear violation of the code of conduct, and has been removed for such. There is never a reason to take jabs at someone like that, whether they're blocked or not. Play nice. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 08:50, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
