::Turns out that we don't do it to befriended as seen with the {{p|Regigigas}} from ''{{bp|DP129|Pillars of Friendship!}}''. What about the ones in training whose original owners' names weren't revealed, such as the Altaria from ''{{bp|DP156|A Meteoric Rise to Excellence!}}'' as Wilma is training it for someone else, and the Monferno from ''{{bp|DP088|Camping It Up!}}'' as Angie got it from the Summer Academy and gave it back to them?
