:It sounds like your account hasn't been autoconfirmed yet. You have to make a certain amount of edits before you can have access to privileges such as creating pages. I think what may have happened is that you tried to manually create a page instead of using the [http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Special:Upload Upload manager] feature. Try to upload the sprites that way. Please let me know if you continue to have issues.
