Get to Ranger Mason! It is an emergency!--Kuki 15:32, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Never mind, it was Naomi and Missingno. Master already did it!--Kuki 15:35, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Please stop deleting

I changed the episode's pic. Tc26 01:22, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

No, you uploaded a duplicate, which is not allowed at all! And, you shouldn't change episode head images, because it screws up categories on the archives. Moldy orange 01:24, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
Have you checked DP085 yet? Tc26 01:28, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Card Scans

Hey, i noticed you labelled most of my card scans as 'unsatisfactory'. Could you please tell me what is wrong with them? Are they too small or something? Lemonnlime

Ohh right, hm you know what that is, its from the protectors i used :| so if i scan them in a clear protector would they then be okay? --Lemonnlime 09:29, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Image:Spr 3r 241.png

If there was a reason why you only added one category, what was the reason? Baby G 20:10, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

It was named for the Ruby/Sapphire naming system. If you want to upload the FireRed/LeafGreen version in order to put the category up, name it as "Image:Spr 3f 241.png" like the FRLG sprites are named.
The naming system shouldn't mean anything. Regardless of the naming, they're still sprites from FireRed/LeafGreen. Baby G 15:10, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

File:ScytherFRLGBackSprite.PNG

Why did you delete it? Baby G 19:26, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Wasn't it obvious? It was misnamed and not used. Moldy orange 19:35, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Just because it wasn't currently used, that doesn't mean that it was never used. Baby G 19:38, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
But the uploader, who is the person who put it on the page, removed it later. It doesn't matter if it was ever used, it needs to be used at the moment it was checked. Moldy orange

Image:Spr 2c 217.gif

That looked like the correct version to me. Doesn't Ursaring open its mouth and scratch itself in its Crystal sprite? What part of it was wrong? Baby G 13:03, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Whenever it moved, not all of the sprite moved with it. It just moved incorrectly, if you can fix it, It will be fine to upload again. Moldy orange 14:29, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Image:Pikachu-original.png

Why did you revert my edit there? Baby G 16:21, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

That isn't specifically a game image, it is an artwork image. You aren't helping do anything, I wish you would just actually edit Bulbapedia instead of screwing up the archives when you don't even know any systems, techniques, or anything else that need to be done with images. Moldy orange 16:24, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
If I stop editing here, where else am I gonna upload images for my Bulbapedia user page? Baby G 16:25, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
You can upload those images using photobucket like everyone else. Moldy orange 16:28, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
But then how would I put them on my userpage? Baby G 16:28, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
You put the image's url from photobucket. Moldy orange 16:31, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
What code would I use? Baby G 16:32, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
The url. That is one code, there isn't another to choose from. Moldy orange 16:34, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
I don't get it. Am I just supposed to put the url? How do I get the image to show on my page if I'm just putting the url? Baby G 16:35, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
It just does, all you need to do is put the url and it shows up. For example: staraptoriffsprites.png Moldy orange 16:38, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Okay, thanks for the help. Baby G 16:39, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Image:220.png

Don't you think it's a good idea to actually EXPLAIN why you reverted my edit? The description I put was more specific, and I added a relevant category. Why did you revert my edit? Baby G 21:48, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

Why are you deleting my images?!

WHY?! --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 18:39, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Image:DPChansey joy.PNG

The sprite tag says "This image is a sprite from a Pokémon game, or substantially derived from one". The bold is the case here. Plus, images absolutely NEED a license tag. Please revert your edit. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 23:40, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Category:Custom sprites is in Category:Game Sprites, the one that goes with the game sprites tag. Double categorizing is bad, and should never be done, but you insist on doing it! First Category:Ash's Pikachu/Category:Pikachu and now this. Moldy orange 00:18, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
The category is not the point I'm trying to prove here. The point is that all images absolutely need license tags, and the part where the tag says "substantially derived from one" is what applies to the image. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 01:51, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
There is no rule anywhere saying that there must be a tag, don't make up rules that do not exist. I know what is a rule and what isn't because, guess what, I made some of them. Moldy orange 02:20, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Fine, but don't come crying to me when Bulbagarden Archives gets sued for not giving credit to the copyright holders. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:13, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Why would I cry to you, I would just delete the copyrighted images that the people uploaded, and, the ones you are fighting over are sprites made by Users at Bulbapedia for use on Bulbapedia. There is no copyright violation for that. Moldy orange 21:01, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

I asked you on my talk page, and you didn't answer

What did I do to cause you to bear a grudge against me? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 01:49, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

You just love to ignore people, don't you? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:14, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Also

You made 16 reverts in less than 1 hour, a huge violation of the 3RR. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:16, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

What is this "3RR"? Three Revert Rule? That does not exist. Plus, if a vandal edits 100 pages, why should a user only revert three every hour? That would take a day and a half just to revert a vandal's mess. What you did was virtually the same, you caused problems on a mass amount of pages and they had to be fixed as soon as possible. I am just doing my job of fixing problems. Moldy orange 21:01, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Image:Valley Windworks Drifloon Platinum.PNG

Explain how the current version is better. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 01:41, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Why do you think you have to challenge every single thing I try to do in order stop problems from happening and to clean-up the archives? Moldy orange 02:00, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
That's irrelevant to my question. But to answer yours: Because you abuse your admin powers. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 02:01, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Delete Please

Im sorry to bug you for the millionth time but can you delete this? Image:EnergyShipping.gif its not being used anywhere so... Mooites 16:37, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

If you want things to be easier, you can put {{delete}} on the image page, with an edit summary of why you want it deleted. It would be easier for both of us. Moldy orange 16:40, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

About the talk page

Sorry, didn't know that a User talk page cannot be a redirect. I just thought that it is better to have all messages in one place. Is it then OK to just put a notice which tells people to add their comments on the Bulbapedia user talk page instead? UltimateSephiroth 17:41, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, that isn't a problem. Moldy orange 17:45, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

C'mon

Check the candidates for deletion. There are quite a few images there. --Chocolate 22:48, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

There were only five...don't make a big deal over nothing. It's not like it had over one hundered, which it did up until the middle of July. Moldy orange 23:07, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Why?

Why did you protect this image? Yes, I know an edit war is when "an undo is undone". But Kuki's revert was a long time after I uploaded a new version of it. --Chocolate 21:06, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Bias

What do u have against me?--Kukimanmanman 19:26, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Permission

What?--Kukimanmanman 23:15, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

If you would bother to read the image policy on Bulbapedia, you would know that everyone needs an admins permission to change any anie images. Pay attention to the main page! Maverick Nate 00:59, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Change?

How about FRLG/RSE move screenshots? Can I replace some with the DP ones? And about the Fury Swipes, I didn't know that there is already fury swipes image in the article. I didn't change it anyway. DUSKevz 06:10, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Why?

Why did you revert my uploads of the card images? Mine were bigger and better quality. Chocolate 16:36, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

And site-stamped. Site-stamps are a big no-no when it comes to card images. If a card image has a site stamp on it, that image goes, size and quality do not matter in this case. Even attempting to cover up a site stamp doesn't change the fact that the site stamp is there; there was a Dark Dragonair image deleted because the uploader had blacked out a Pokébeach site stamp to try to keep the image up. --Shiningpikablu252 16:41, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
But they had no site stamps from what I could see. And you can't see any of the card text on the other ones. Chocolate 16:47, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Bottom-right corner of the images in question had a site stamp which is that of images shown on eBay. The images were deleted to prevent Bulbagarden from getting in trouble with eBay over the use of the images. --Shiningpikablu252 16:48, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
I looked, and I saw nothing related to eBay. Chocolate 16:49, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Anyone gonna respond? Chocolate 18:07, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

User pages

Is there a limit here on how many edits one can make to a page in the User: namespace like there is on Bulbapedia? Because I've made three edits to my Archives user page today, but I've uploaded more images since my third edit. Chocolate 19:14, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Actually, the archives userpage is supposed to be a link to the Bulbapedia page, nothing more, if any. Maverick Nate 19:52, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for uploading the new versions of the card images. But, in case you didn't notice, the Misty's Poliwrath card that you uploaded is in Japanese. Do you only have a Japanese version of it in your collection? Chocolate 02:01, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

I did notice it was in Japanese, but no, I don't have the english card. But the rerason we upload the cards is for the artwork; the text doesn't really matter, as long as the whole image looks good and the artwork is seen. Trust me, the Japanese is better in this case, because of how low quality the english was. I plan on uploading the Japanese for more than just that card, so don't worry when that happens, it is perfectly fine. :) Maverick Nate 02:04, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
Okay. Yeah, if people wanted to know what the text was in English, they could always look at the previous version of the image. Chocolate 02:07, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
They could also look at the page; those pages are supposed to have exact text. Since the english is on the page already, there isn't any strict either/or for the language of the card. I could even upload some German versions of Jungle and Base if I wanted to, because the language does not matter! Maverick Nate 02:10, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
Oh yeah. I forgot that the TCG articles on Bulbapedia have the cards' text on them. My bad. Chocolate 02:11, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
That's okay. Maverick Nate 02:12, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

TCG

I happened to have gotten my scanner working, so I can scan in card images as replacements for low quality card images. I promise not to screw up the TCG any more if you will allow to upload high quality card images. For example, here's a link to a Sabrina's Abra card I scanned in:

Link

See how good the quality is? The current version is really bad. If you allow me to upload replacements, itv would do a lotta good, so may I be allowed to replace low quality card images? Chocolate 22:37, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, yes. I only got mad the first time because you were just searching the internet for card images. Now that you are scanning your own, and they are actually good, I don't care if you upload new versions. Just make sure you make them work on the wiki side, and it is new version, not duplicate card image. Maverick Nate 03:14, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Problem with Image:Spr b g3 059 s.png & Image:Spr b g3 060 s.png

I'm a new user, but I'm trying to get all the sprites done for the pages and I was going through and changing some to the correct sizes of 64 x 64, it worked for most of them, but for Arcanine and Poliwag, the images are squashed when they appear on an actual page, as in their pages on the wiki or in their category listings, am I doing something wrong or is this just the system? I've just checked the wiki and now the sprite images that I've changed are wacky on there too and don't match up with their normal sprites.

Adding on to that as I try to do more to help, are all backgrounds meant to be transparent for game sprites, what are they meant to be uploaded as png's or gif's and finally how does categorization work, are we trying to get everything categorized in a way similar to Generation II sprites or not? --Spriteit 11:28, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Okay, in order to fix the images on the pages, you have to refresh a bunch in order to make them work. All sprites should be transparent. The only images that are supposed to be ifs are Crystal, Emerald, and Yellow sprites, the rest should be pngs. And in order to categorize pages, just put [[Category:"Category name"]] on the page at the bottom, like the gen two sprites. Dos that answer everything? Maverick Nate 23:53, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Almost except what I meant by categorization is for Gen II, the sprites are further separated by whether their shiny or not bringing the amount of categories up to nine, whereas with Gen III, they aren't separated by shiny-ness meaning there are only five categories, so do you want me to split the third gen sprites into seperate shiny categories or would you like them to stay how they are? Also, do I out the sprites in the category Game Sprites as well as their individual Generation Sprite? If not how do I remove the tag that puts it there? -- Spriteit 00:27, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
No shiny categories! If you see them, remove them. also, leave the ones in the Game Sprites category alone, they actually belong there; put the category on by putting {{i-Fairuse-sprite-game}} on every page that doesn't have it. Also, there should only be one other category other than "game sprites" and the Pokémon's name. That should be either the game name for front sprites and the "Generation # back sprite" on backsprites. In other words, choose only one category for each sprite from the list below.
Pokémon Red and Blue sprites
Pokémon Red and Green sprites
Pokémon Yellow sprites
Pokémon Crystal sprites
Pokémon Silver sprites
Pokémon Gold sprites
Pokémon Emerald sprites
Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen sprites
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire sprites
Pokémon Diamond and Pearl sprites
Pokémon Platinum sprites
Generation I back sprites
Generation II back sprites
Generation III back sprites
Generation IV back sprites
Only one of the above should go on, making the category total three: Pokémon name, the category within that fairuse template stated above, and one of the above categories. These three things should be the only ones, and should be on every sprite page. Maverick Nate 02:52, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Okay then, I'm transparent-ing Generation I sprites currently, but the templates need to be changed because most sprites that use Template:Spr b g1 (or variations of the same template) stop the inputting of [[Category:Game sprites]] onto the image. --Spriteit 03:24, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Pokemonbreeder.PNG

Hi Maverick Nate. Why did you delete Pokemonbreeder.PNG? I was about to use that in Pokémon world. --Clarky13 18 November 2008 (UTC)
