I feel having a split for every single one of them is extraeneous. This is a relic of back when Pokémon didn't release worldwide, and letters of Pokémon forms, for the sake of [[:Category:Generation V menu sprites|menu sprites]] and [[:Category:Current game sprites|game sprites]], needed proper places to go even before we got their offical English names. The changes associated with this suggestion would require a lot of infastructural change on both Bulbapedia and the Archives that would be best done by BulbaBot, which, unfortunately, I do not have access to.
