You can help by checking the {{ar|To-do list}}, check what you can do there; tagging files for moving, deletion, categorising them, requesting files to be uploaded... you have tons of things to contribute. Regarding the credit, no it wouldn't; although you can ask for the person uploading it to add in the summary who the original uploader is. We usually do credit the original uploader, but knowing who was the origina uploader isn't really relevant.
