Image summaries
When uploading new images, please don't put in the summary your source, the summary is for a description of the image.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 16:29, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- Please do not forget to add summaries to your uploads. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 20:47, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
- Also be aware that many link templates that work on Bulbapedia also work here, "p" and "m" being the most notable examples. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 15:03, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
Pokémon
When uploading images with Pokémon in the title, please put é instead of e.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 08:40, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
Future Episode Images
When it comes to uploading new images for upcoming episodes, could you please hold off until the episode airs so that we have good quality images without text or logos when we get a good quality video.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 22:19, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
Explorers & Rising Volt Tacklers logos
Hi :) Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you could tell me the source for the Explorers & Rising Volt Tacklers logos that you uploaded please? :) I've been trying to find them before, that's why. Thanks! Lady Junky (talk) 12:38, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- Sure, I got them from here: @Anipoke_Pr. QuickJolteon (talk) 20:01, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
Anime screenshots
FYI, source quality screenshots from the anime (such as File:HZ eyecatch 13.png) are fine, the 720p guideline is outdated.

New images
Just letting you know for future reference, images don't have to be 1280x720 any more, we can have them 1920x1080--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 13:47, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
Compression artifacts
Your recent upload of File:Halo cover.png has some pretty severe compression artifacts and banding. Just because an image is larger doesn't necessarily mean it's better quality, especially when comparing social media uploads vs. images from press releases. We should get the cover in higher resolution once the single is out, but I would recommend keeping this in mind for the future. --Abcboy (talk) 20:35, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
Tagging images for deletion
Hi! Whenever you tag an image for deletion for being a duplicate, it's polite to go and make the necessary replacements on the wiki to change the image over. Images that are in use are never supposed to be deleted, so making sure all the use cases are now at the new version is an important thing to do. I hope this is something you can do in the future. Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions. MaverickNate 05:31, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- A small request, when tagging images for deletion if a better image has been uploaded (such as Special:Diff/888562), it'd be very much appreciated if you can also link to the file it has been replaced by in the deletion reason. Thanks! → PikaTepig999 23:18, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
Hi
Just a polite reminder that when uploading new versions of existing images to update the categories to reflect the new image.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 09:33, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
Artwork sources
Hi, thank you for uploading Horizons artwork of Carmine.
When you upload artwork in future it would be helpful if could you add a link to its source, or at least the specific website or channel it is from. It makes it easier to verify that it comes from official sources that way.
Thanks --Thespeon196 (talk) 17:30, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
Quick note
For future reference when uploading images of game characters that appear in the anime, can you name the images Character name series, for example instead of Carmine anime 2.png, it would be Carmine HZ.png--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 22:36, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
Your status effect images of Mimikyu.
Hi, I saw you're the one who uploaded status pics of Mimikyu. I uploaded one for Freeze (as there wasn't one), but I personally don't like the how different it is from your pictures due to the background & darkness. I also struggled to get Mimikyu in the exact spot. I was wondering if you remember the location of where you took the pics of Mimikyu and how you got it to face the camera. Could you please help me by telling me how you did it? Thanks. Unowninator (talk) 05:31, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- To me, your picture looks fine, it just needs to be during the daytime. The location was near the East Province (Area Three)'s Pokémon Center. Just try to tiptoe in front of your Pokémon just enough to take a picture and without having them walk towards you, then wait for the effects to show up.
