This template is for the key artwork of Pokémon: art that is the go-to standard when Game Freak displays a Pokémon. The main place to find these is the official online Pokédexes, https://zukan.pokemon.co.jp/ or https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokedex . (Fundamentally, there should only be one image per Pokémon/form (possibly including genders) that uses this template or is in its category.)


Parameters
  • Unnamed
    • 1: The Pokémon's National Pokédex number (0001, 1008, etc)
    • 2: The Pokémon's name (Bulbasaur, Miraidon, etc)
  • Named
    • missing: "yes" for an image that is not truly key art, but instead a placeholder where a form does not have proper key artwork; if proper artwork becomes available, removing this parameter will automatically recategorize it
