Hey Maverick Nate! I've been scanning some Pokemon cards of mine and thought I would upload them for the wiki (seeing how a lot of them are missing), so it's been pretty fun! :) I love contributing any way I can! | |||
I actually didn't know about the 1280px image size restriction and was only aware of the file size limit, so I had been downsizing my scans and compressing them just to meet the 2mb requirement for use on the website. Would you be able to link me to the FAQ or page that has the information on image restrictions, etc.? I can't seem to find it lol. The original scans are very large to include as much detail as possible (for accurate preservation purposes mostly) so that's the reason the dimensions are as big as they are. But if you need the image size to be smaller, I'd be more than happy to oblige! Just let me know! | |||
I guess I might as well ask, but is there a particular reason behind the image size limit? I understand the file size limit of course, but I'm curious about the dimension size one. Oh, and sorry about the initial "JPEG" naming of my image too. I must have left it that way by mistake. Thanks for informing me to use JPG instead of JPEG for extensions. I didn't know about that either, so I'll make sure my uploads use JPG from now on! :) | |||
