::::::Perhaps it would be nice to leave a set of untouched images somewhere in case someone else can clean them up better, but I think the example you showed is a fair (if not "perfect", sure) image. ...One reliable way you ''could'' do that would be to upload the images like you have been and then re-uploading them with the blue parts made transparent (and someone could just grab the original versions if they ever wanted to reedit it), but I'm not sure staff would approve of that.
