It's a lot easier to put the reason under the delete template. It is done as such: <nowiki>{{delete|reason}}</nowiki>. In this case the reason would be "replaced by png counterpart" or something like that. Pretty simple. Admins will constantly check the "{{cat|Candidates for deletion}}" category because it's their responsibility. Other questions? Don't hesitate to ask under your talk page. Regards.
