A screenshot taken from their most recent appearance is what we're after. The image you reverted to was from an episode way back when, while the image BigDocFan uploaded was from its most recent anime appearance. This goes for all recurring anime Pokemon, we want a screencap of their most recent appearance.--Force Fire (talk) 12:27, 12 April 2020 (UTC) | A screenshot taken from their most recent appearance is what we're after. :Even if the newer picture is an obvious downgrade? ok got it. Just a sec, will upload a pic of Mr. Mime with like 10 other pokemon because that picture is newer.--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 12:32, 12 April 2020 (UTC) | |||

Please don't edit war
Please don't edit war and actually read the whole conversation before jumping to conclusions. Playerking95 (talk) 14:29, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
- Please use the talk page, as you were told to do, before reverting good pics with unnecessary pics that blur out the pokemon's actual body, so it's hard to recognize what -mon is using the move.ShallowShaddoll (talk) 14:31, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, a couple of things. 1. Cut the attitude. 2. This isn't my talk page, so there's no need to discuss what I've done here and 3. It was a completely necessary edit, as it was a picture that was shown making contact, that also shows the Pokemon which is using the move, as I've said before, so please listen this time. Playerking95 (talk) 15:07, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
- 1. Ditto, 2. Don't harass me and order me what to do, so that you'd be pleased. 3. You were told that it does not matter whether moves make contact or not, so that argument does not validate a worse picture. Simple as that. ShallowShaddoll (talk) 15:09, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not having any attitude with you. 2. I'm not harassing you, I'm just telling you what you shouldn't be doing, because, well, you shouldn't be doing. This is your talk page, not mine. 3. As I have said, physical moves are better when they are shown making contact, so I don't know how many other times I can say that and it's not a worse picture, it's a better one. Playerking95 (talk) 15:15, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
- Oh rlly now? 2. Yes you are, you are telling me not to do something despite you having no right to do that nor me having any need to agree with you. That is harassment. 3. Not true, you were told that contact does not influence a picture's worth - a better quality picture with a visible user is better in this case. Simple as that. You will not prove me wrong because you simply cannot because you are not right. If you are not happy, just go with a moderator so he/she could decide on the picture...--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 15:20, 18 August 2016 (UTC)

Yes, really. Please read what I say. 2. I am not. People he re are allowed to tell you not to do something if it's valid. So, no, no harassment here. 3. Except that I don't really need to convince you, since I know that you are the one who is wrong. - unsigned comment from Playerking95 (talk • contribs)
It is there
Look at the VERY LAST comment on Force Fire's archives talk page, where he says, and I quote " If you want to change it because it has a logo, fine." And no, I wouldn't purposefully cause trouble, but judging by the fact that you lied about not seeing the comment, since you said you looked at every one, despite it being there, means that you seem to be causing trouble. Playerking95 (talk) 16:34, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
- I saw that. He said it was OK to change the picture since it has a logo, but it was agreed that we ain't changing it to yours since it's worse. Find a more suitable solution or keep it as it is. Changing it just 'cause it had a logo was not the proposed solution we all agreed on... I can easily do what Rahl does and smear the logo, but that wouldn't really make a difference...--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 16:56, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
- He didn't say that, he was talking about the Thunderbolt one and it wasn't agreed that it was worse. He said if it had a logo, it can be changed, so to prevent an edit war, please revert your last edit. Playerking95 (talk) 17:16, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
- Like, did you even read the entire conversation? Yours was worse, we both agreed on it, and even Chenzw agreed. Like.. Get over your ego dude. Yes, ForceFire said you can change it since it has a logo, but he did not say to you to revert it. If you can find a more appropriate picture, be my guest, but as it is now, it was agreed that yours was inferior... WHY IS THAT SO HARD TO GRASP FOR YOU? :O Like I said, I can smear the logo and everything will be fine, but since ForceFire said that it's hard to notice from the beginning, I don't really see how smearing it would change anything in the long run...--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 17:24, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
- While the image currently has a logo on it, from an editorial standpoint, the current image is the best representation of what the move is. You can see the Pokémon's full body and the entire shape of the move. The other image simply does not meet those standards. If anyone finds a better alternative, you may post a link to it on the talkpage and we can go from there since the page is now permanently protected. --Pokemaster97 21:33, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you, @Pokemaster! Yes, exactly. Thank you.--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 21:37, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
- I did and no, that does not mean it was inferior, because it's better and I don't give a crap about whether Chenzw agrees or not. I don't have an ego, so there's nothng to get over. He did say I could change it, because it has a logo, so actually read what was said. The Images does meet the standards, but if you want a logo on image, which people can see over one without one, that is basically the same in quality, then go ahead, but it really should be changed. SwSh Pokemon artwork
Would you be able to re-upload your SwSh artwork so that the canvas size is perfectly square? The templates that use it (e.g. the Party templates and Pokémon/8) rely on the images to be square, otherwise the formatting gets messed up. Thanks. TehPerson (talk) 21:02, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
New Images
Whilst we appreciate your assistance in uploading images for Bulbapedia, I can't help but notice a few mistakes. Whilst I'm not admin, I would like to advice you of the following
- Images should be 1280x720
- Descriptions are needed--BigDocFan (talk) 17:22, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delay, was editing -pedia articles. I'll get on descriptions right now. Size to 1280x720 is not mandatory tho.--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 18:10, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, welp, you did 'em for me. K thanks. Maybe be a bit more patient next time, kay ;)? -pedia comes first, after all.--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 18:15, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- Your images are too big. 1280×720 is the optimal and the biggest allowed size. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 18:19, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- There's no policy for bigger, higher quality pictures as far a I'm aware. The pictures were ripped straight from the file, so they're in original, unedited size. Editing them to 1280x720 stretches them out.--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 18:22, 29 December 2019 (UTC)

Nurse Joy Chansey, or recurring anime Pokemon in general
A screenshot taken from their most recent appearance is what we're after. The image you reverted to was from an episode way back when, while the image BigDocFan uploaded was from its most recent anime appearance. This goes for all recurring anime Pokemon, we want a screencap of their most recent appearance.--Force Fire (talk) 12:27, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
