Welcome to the Bulbagarden Archives, Crikko! As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your uploading:

Manual of Style The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format and guidelines of all images on Bulbagarden Archives. List of Admins All of our administrators are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with the Archives. Tagging Guidelines Tagging images with correct licenses and categories is a must. These guidelines will help you learn more about tagging images.

Miscellaneous Please read the checklist when you upload media files. The checklist is there to make sure you are doing everything necessary when uploading said media files. Be sure to tag and categorize all images. This helps organize the vast amount of images we have here. Check if your image already exists by searching through categories, and Bulbapedia pages. This action will help prevent unnecessary duplicates from appearing. When adding a licensing tag to anime or game screenshots, please avoid just choosing "Screenshot". This is not descriptive and places the images in the wrong category. Make sure to choose "Screenshot from a Pokémon game," or "Screenshot from the Pokémon anime." This will put them in the right categories, and help keep the Archives clean. Does your image have a purpose? Will you be using it on a Bulbagarden Project? Avoid uploading images because you think they are "Cute" or "Awesome". That clutters the Archives. Personal images are limited to two for each User. Personal images include personal logos, personal trainer sprites, drawings, trainer cards and mostly any image that would only be used in the User: namespace and have no encyclopedic value to Bulbagarden and its affiliates. Please tag these with the {{i-Personal}} template for easier organization. Under no circumstance should a photograph of one's self ever be uploaded onto Bulbagarden Archives. In addition, please upload images with meaningful names. Names that are just numbers, for example, do not describe anything about the image, and can make it difficult for searchers. Names are just as important as licenses and categories, so make them descriptive. Please be sure that the filenames contain alphanumeric characters only. Due to the many automated templates used on the wiki, lowercase extensions are imperative. That means jpg and png instead of JPG and PNG. It looks cleaner, it works better, and it does not cause any problems. Make sure to always use lowercase extensions. If you're confused about the requirements for uploading files, have a look at this guide.

Hey, it's nice that you're uploading images, but can you upload them as .png instead of .jpg? Png is preferred over jpgs because its of higher quality. Be sure to tag the images with their proper categories as well. Jello^Talk 17:16, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Hey, if you've read the site notice above, it says that the maximum image size is now 1080 x 1080 pixels, so your newer uploads will have to be shrunk down. Please upload within that limit next time. Thanks. Jello^Talk 19:20, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

Question

Oh well, everytime the anime airs, i wait for the episode video on Youtube, then, when a good HD video comes out, i watch the episode, i take pictures with stamp+r sist and if there are some new moves, i check the Japanese pronounce on Eevee movedex. Sometimes, Youtube doesn't satisfy me, so i download the video and i watch it on my computer, and i take pictures in the same way. But before uploading the images, i modify their sizes and correct their color with Photoshop. I hope it could help you in some way, but i saw that often you have uploaded pictures that were better than mines ;) --★Criққѳ~* 15:50, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Well the ones that I uploaded were from 2chan to 2ch, whatever it's called, and they haven't had any Sinnoh League pictures released since DP182, and you uploaded some Sinnoh League pics, so I was just curious to if you got them from the same place and I had looked at the wrong place. Since your images are so awesome

Do you have like access to like the old Johto images or like the MD series? A user asked for my assistance in uploading some image which can be seen here, and some of them I could get, and some of them I can't. I couldn't find an image that actually had Regirock using the move, just preparing it and the effect on Sceptile, and the Sandstorm one doesn't count, it didn't use it, and I got a pic of Kadabra using Confusion, and I might be able to find a pic of Pikachu using Tackle, but mostly I was just wondering if you have access to the later Johto eps like Johto Conference and MD series. Sorry for butting this conversation, but I'll be glad to help you out as well. I've finally got a way to get 720p pure HD screenshots (and it's not youtube :P). Ofcourse old episodes were not aired in hd but I'll try to get some HQ ones. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 14:35, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Logo

Hey Crik, since you're also an HD pic uploader so I think you might know this one. How to remove that TV Tokyo logo completely without leaving a trace behind? I've been trying to remove the logos from the HD pics but they look really bad (with smudgy effects). Is there any proper way to remove them? Well i have difficulties too!! Especially with last episodes...DP episodes were often uploaded without the logo..but i noticed that all BW episodes are being uploaded with the logo...and i cannot remove it...Sorry X( ! --★Criққѳ~* 13:06, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Cropping

Just curious, why did you upload cropped pics of Dino's and Ramone's Pokémon, and Cameron's Watchog from the scoreboard? I don't find it necessary since they're too small and they stretch in their articles. I had to upload the Pokémon that appeared on the scoreboard because it was their only appearance (yet I don't know why the anime likes to give out those types of shots to tournament-only characters). I won't but I've contacted multiple administrators in 2 days and no one has replied me yet. Do you know if there's a more immediate way? It's a pity because this is all original content that Bulbapedia needs and that I'm willing to share and I don't know if I will have the time to do this in the next days.
