Welcome to the Bulbagarden Archives, Moribundead!

Thank you for joining our community! By creating your account you are now able to upload images to support Bulbapedia and Bulbagarden's other projects. This is a brief introduction to the Archives rules and resources to help you get started:

  • Uploaded images must meet several requirements.
  • All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload.
    • There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit!
  • Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily.
  • Personal images are not allowed. Any personal images found will be promptly removed.
  • If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out.
  • If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or feel free to ask a staff member.
Thank you, and have a good time uploading here!

Figure images

Hello! So, I saw that you've been uploading a bunch of images of the Re-Ment Pokémon figures, and I'm really grateful for your help, but I just wanted to say that I previously also uploaded images of their figures and even made a separate Category for them on Category:Re-Ment. So if you want to add more images, you can check that category so that you can know which images are already here! AnnieCat07 (talk) 08:55, 2 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Alright, I'll have a look and add the Berry category to the ones I know are featuring them. :)

Is the Re-Ment list complete, by the way?

Moribundead (talk) 09:51, 2 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

There are still a couple of figure series that need to be uploaded. I've been mostly getting my figure images from the Pokémon Re-Ment list here. You can take a look at it later if you want. AnnieCat07 (talk) 10:03, 2 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Pokémon Time

Hello! So I wanted to ask for your help with finding images from the Pokémon Time line of merchandise? It's a line that's been going on for quite a long time and I'm surprised that there aren't many image about it on the wiki. AnnieCat07 (talk) 17:47, 8 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hey!
It looks like there are a lot of goods listed over here, or is there something specific you're looking for?
Moribundead (talk) 12:21, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yeah those are the ones I'm talking about, but you don't need to worry about doing them all in one go, you can take your time I'm in no rush! AnnieCat07 (talk) 12:37, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I was unable to log into here for some time due to the maintenance and the resulting issues.
Anyways, I wanted to say that I didn't realize you were asking me to help uploading images of the goods.
I'm sorry, but this line doesn't interest me and uploading images is kinda difficult/confusing in itself already (well, actually it's entering the correct info, to be precise). I also have enough stuff I'm personally interested in uploading (about 300 images; will probably take a while).
Moribundead (talk) 16:08, 13 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
Oh alright then. Then I guess I'll upload them myself at a later time. But thanks for finding that link of the pictures for me! AnnieCat07 (talk) 16:16, 13 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Category sort

Hi there! Thanks for all the effort you're putting into the Archives! I ended up having the generational sort for the categories for items removed. I get the desire to have a more dedicated sort, but the default alphabetical is objectively better. Expecting people to know what generation a particular item was introduced is intimate knowledge that shouldn't be a prerequisite to navigating the images. Hope you understand! Thanks. Hi,
actually, I understand and appreciate it.
I noticed just yesterday that the sorting is pretty confusing/useless myself when I was looking for a particular berry's category lol.
(well, at least it was helpful to be able to see if I created them all!)
By the way, do you know if there's a template for letting people know when an anime screenshot is missing the episode it is from?
Some of the ones I edited regarding item categories which were missing the episode info have been edited by others afterwards to include it, but there are a lot that haven't been edited yet. Moribundead (talk) 14:21, 23 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi, apologies for stepping in. There are two templates which can be added to animation screenshots where the episode is unknown. The animated series template {{i-Fairuse-screenshot-animated-series}} used without any parameters will do the trick if you suspect the image is from the animated TV series. But, failing that, you can also use {{i-Fairuse-screenshot-animation-unknown}}. Either method will place the images in 'Category:Images with indeterminable episode origin' or its subfolder. Merchandise categories

Hi, as you've been working with the Merchandise category recently I just thought I'd give a heads up that it's been restructured fairly significantly to have the 'items' directly inside Merchandise, and the structure of TCG, Exclusive etc. moved under 'Merchandise collections'. The work was long overdue, and it's still a bit of WIP, but I'll continue with it a bit more in the coming days. Thespeon196 (talk) 01:55, 5 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Ah okay, that makes sense! By the way, what do you think about tagging every category/picture (if no category) with the manufacturer? Should it perhaps be done for bigger companies only?
I also recently had a(nother) look at the toys navigation template (which I think also needs a huge revamp) and decided to make one just for Pokémon figures (and am planning on editing the toys template to remove stationary figures (like the Kotobukiya figures or the GEM series), leaving only those that are action figures or have some other feature to be played with (those would be included in both the toys and figures templates)).
The plushies template I just made is here: [1]
Regarding templates, I also recently made a Re-Ment template! (it's missing (just) those collections that were standalones (not belonging to the Terrarium Collection, Swing Vignette Collection, etc.))
Also regarding merchandise, I'm also working on the list of Pokémon Center collections (if that's of any relevance right now?) (I plan on making a template for those too and I think grouping them after the release year would make the most sense here) (and I think that table/list should be split into one for the US and one for the Japanese collections)
I was also wondering if it makes sense to add the release years to some of the templates? (and if there should be categories over on bulbapedia which game etc. a release was for (although a lot of them are probably just Pokémon in general), but that's definitely my least favourite idea...)
(also, technically every image of card sleeves and such belonging to a Pokémon Center collection needs to be categorized with that collection, but to be honest, I have a feeling I should really take a step back and reconsider what I really want to work on....) Moribundead (talk) 14:48, 6 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
That's a lot of ideas!

I think it wouldn't be completely straightforward to implement Category:Merchandise by manufacturer as the merchandise within those manufacturer categories would need to be separated out from the artwork and logos etc. For now I think adding missing manufacturer categories (of manufacturers that we already have) to just the loose images directly inside Category:Merchandise would be a good step. I'll have a think on Category:Merchandise by manufacturer.

With regards to the merchandise Bulbapedia navigation templates, I'm not really the person to ask, though I do like how the Plush toys template looks. The Re-Ment template looks like it needs some more pages created before it's implemented, with all those redlinks! For the bigger changes like separating the stationary figures, and for more specialist opinion, it would be best to discuss it on the relevant template talk pages before changing them.

I do like the idea of you making the list of Pokémon Center collections more comprehensive, and creating the pages for them if possible.

Try not to do too many things at once though, no need to rush, it's better to do it well than to do it fast! Thespeon196 (talk) 00:30, 7 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
