::::: I use Paint.NET, magic wand, 0% tolerance, so no issues. Cropping is really just a necessary aesthetic choice. These images are used everywhere, and they are already too small as is and the official site is inconsistent in how much space they leave around the Pokémon, for example the Wooper forms appear way smaller than other mons, cropping fixes the issue and leaves no ambiguity.  Oneofthosedf (talk) 15:20, 22 May 2023 (UTC)

::::: Speaking of 0% tolerance, I see that the images you uploaded from the 2004 Australian FRLG Press Kit are full of darker specs in the background. Ideally, these should be not be there. Every irregularity in the background that is not directly attached to the main body of the Pokémon should be removed, since it's not part of the artwork. :::::: Wait I'm confused, why would you need to use the magic wand when cropping? Lewtwo (talk) 08:02, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
