I don't really understand why autoconfirmation is separate for the Archives and Bulbapedia. The autoconfirmation process is to ensure that the system does not get spammed or abused by new accounts. Why isn't it sufficient to be a longtime member of Bulbepedia? I've made tons of edits on the main Bulbapedia space. Why isn't that good enough? | |||
If the answer is "we don't know how to combine autoconfirmation on Bulbapedia and Archives", then I can understand it. Otherwise, I just don't. There's very little to do here aside from uploading images. Essentially you're making new users jump through unnecessary hoops, just because they want to contribute to the project in some way.
