Glitch Pokémon image naming

We need some kind of convention for these, as they are currently all over the place.

Maybe GlitchRB_## and Glitch_Y## etc, where the # are the Hexadecimal identifiers? For example, 'M would be GlitchRB_00 and Z4 would be GlitchY_C3. ????? Hex 00 could be GlitchG2_00, while - could be GlitchG3_019C and ----- could be GlitchG4_0000.

The only problem in Generation I that I see is with Missingno. which has multiple Hex IDs, but it could simply stay the way that it is now.--SnorlaxMonster 05:15, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

We still need a convention, but I think that all images should follow another rule instead. In Generation II-IV, the Hex of a glitch Pokémon is its Pokédex number, and in generation I, all Glitch Pokémon at the same Pokédex number have the same sprite. The convention I now propose for ALL glitch sprites is currently being used by some glitch sprites already, like File:RBGlitch234.png. It would be RBGlitch### with the # being the Pokédex number. --SnorlaxMonster 11:05, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Pokédex numbers are not unique - see for example Aゥ G and h POKé, with the same Pokedex number but different sprites. Ruxax 23:40, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Actually, looking at their Pokédex entries, they have the same sprite. The sprites in their articles must have just been taken from different instances. I think Aゥ G's was actually taken from the image of its Pokédex we have in the article, while H POKé's comes from it in battle. Sprites should be of the Pokémon in battle. --SnorlaxMonster 14:51, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
