Welcome

Welcome to the Bulbagarden Archives, Suic12-!

By creating your account you are now able to upload images to help Bulbapedia and Bulbanews. Before you jump in, take a look at these helpful tips:

  • Uploaded images must meet several requirements. Please see the upload form and/or manual of style before you upload a new image.
  • All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload. There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit.
  • Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily.
  • Personal images are no longer allowed. Any personal images found will be deleted on sight.
  • If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out.
  • If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or ask a staff member.
Thank you, and have a good time uploading here!

Mega Stone

A question. Where exactly did you get that Medichamite sprite from? Taking it from other websites without permission is not allowed. And judging from its info, it seems to be from Serebii. If you happen to have a 3DS capture card, please provide an in-game screenshot of X and Y. Ataro (talk) 21:20, 29 December 2013 (UTC)

Removing personal image

Hello, this is to let you know that as per the manual of style in the Archives that we do not allow for personal images to be uploaded here. If you want, you may instead have a link to another image hosted from a different site, but the Archives is not the place for them. - Chosen of Mana 20:23, 18 February 2019 (UTC)

Excuse me, but it was not a personal image, it was an image from a pokémon game, with which I intended to create a usertag for public use. If you pay attention, there are other images here that seem to have been uploaded for that same purpose. For instance, that turtwig drum file is used only in the usertags. So as far as I am concerned, the image I uploaded was as fit here in the Archives as that turtwig one. I am aware of the manual of style, and only chose to act as I did based on the examples seen here. So is there another reason why the image shouldn't be here, or am I alowed to put it back? Suic12- (talk) 01:33, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
A large majority of these files were made before the personal image rule was made and were therefore grandfathered in. The Turtwig drums image, while uploaded past that decision's date, is an anipng based on a .gif that was converted because of the depreciation of .gifs on the Archives.
That being said, if you were able to provide a proper, transparent sprite rip of Nicky and his drums, I could add it to his page as well as the Roughneck page, and you could use that. - Chosen of Mana 13:48, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
All right, that seems good to me. I'll provide the sprite and let you know when it's ready. Just tell me if you think it should have a specific size or be uploaded with a specific name. Suic12- (talk) 14:57, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
The size can be flexible as long as its is a 1:1 square, not scaled up. The name should be something along the lines of "Roughneck V OD Drums.png". - Chosen of Mana 15:03, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
Done. Here is the file File:Roughneck V OD Drums.png. Suic12- (talk) 17:03, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
Okay! Looks good! - Chosen of Mana 18:31, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
