What do you mean by native resolution for :File:Goldenrod City C.png as those are exceptional to the 1280x1280 limit? Pattyman 13:26, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

::Compared with :File:Goldenrod City GS.png, the resolution of the one from international Crystal is about the double of the one from Gold and Silver. Furthermore, you can see that the image doesn't look completely clear or as sharp as it should be. My guess is that someone zoomed it in after extracting it from the ROM. :::I just saw it too (the blurs with the words Poké and Mart). Pattyman 13:37, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
::::I now know that it was not zoomed in after extraction. I've found an actually good and usable build of CrysMap with support for English Crystal ROMs and when saving the map, it saves it with that resolution. However, CrysMap, being derived from GoldMap, is not that good of a tool and does not provide maps at their native resolution. I took Goldenrod's GS map using JohtoMap v1.02 but that only supports Gold and Silver, not Crystal. SatoMew2 13:54, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Gates
Don't add Kanto to gates to Crystal. It makes them list only as Kanto maps, while they appear in both regions. Marked +-+-+ 17:09, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
:OK, gotcha! ^^ SatoMew2 22:26, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
Unused overworld sprites from FRLG.
Unsure if move them, since Mew has used sprite in Emerald and there is a naming standard. Also, they should be 32x32 and transparent. Like this sprite (16x16 is for Gen I and II, 32x32 for III and IV... and V I'll guess). Marked +-+-+ 19:13, 27 April 2012 (UTC) PS. Guessing you found them with Advance Map?
:Nope, I found them at TCRF. But it doesn't matter if they're used in Emerald since they're unused in FRLG. SatoMew2 (talk) 13:57, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
Filenames
Before tagging a large number of similar files for moving to new filenames, such a mass-renaming proposition should be brought toward the staff and be allowed to undergo a proper discussion. Please be sure to properly propose such a massive change in a singular location if you have such an idea in the future. As for the filenames you selected for those screenshots, the names you were selecting were impossible to use. As the existing files are .png format, there is no way we can move them to a .jpg filename. Additionally, since there is already ongoing debate regarding calling them "eyecatches," it would be highly premature to move them to filenames containing such a term. Thanks for understanding, - <span class="sc" style="color:#DA70D6;">Kogoro</span> - <span class="sc" style="color:#FFB6C1;">Talk to me</span> - 05:04, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
:Wait, the .jpg part was an oversight. Since I obviously didn't type in everything from scratch on every single instance, the mistake went to all the move proposals. SatoMew2
