You are able to put the categories right into the summary box. Also, Category:Game sprites is already in the licensing tag, so no need to put it. MaverickNate 20:49, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Also, it doesn't matter where the categories are on the page, just as long as they are there. No need to move them after the fact! MaverickNate 22:32, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Deleting

Thanks for adding the delete tag to that Heracross sprite. Next time type {{delete|reason}} so the (lazy? ;p) admins don't have to look through the edit summary to see why it ought to be vaporized. —darklordtrom 07:32, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Ohhh, didn't know about that part of the template. Right, thanks! --ChaudCo~ 19:11, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Category

[[Category:Images needing transparency]], in case you're wondering. ht14 21:49, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Also, I don't like spacing for the title. Consistency... ht14 04:21, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
Right, spacing. I've seen so many different versions, it's hard to choose what to go by sometimes. XD I believe the default setting for new uploads puts spaces there, though. --ChaudCo~ 04:33, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
It does, and it's annoying for me... also, Licensing has a colon. So it should read as Licensing: I just want to make things consistent. ht14 04:39, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
Spacing and the colon don't actually matter at all. If you want to put them, then go ahead. —darklordtrom 08:10, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Template

Hey, since you're not an admin, please use {{Delete}} to tell us to delete any image/template. Let me explain. There is this other template, Template:Spr_2g, that was being used. Once you converted all of the Gold sprites into {{Gamesprite}} format, the other template was not used. We're unable to know unless you say so. Ok? Thanks. ht14 00:08, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

I guess it only makes sense for an unused template to be deleted, yet the thought never even crossed my mind. :p I'll remember that if the situation ever comes up again. --ChaudCo~ 00:14, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Curiosity

Do you have a program that helps make files transparent, like say, GIMP? If so, it'd be appreciated if you help out with that. ht14 22:26, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

As a matter of fact, I do have GIMP. :O Yup, that's what I'm planning on doing with the Crystal sprites. And then whatever other sprites need transparatizing. (Is that even a word?) --ChaudCo~ 22:58, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
That's good! Keep up the good work! ht14 17:20, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Transparent Gifs

I also have tried to make some gen II sprites transparent using my handy GIMP program. However, I have ran into trouble on some animations (ex: The Crystal meowth sprite). No matter what I do, I cannot make it come out correct, no matter how I replace or combine the frames. Do you have any idea to remedy this? Also, someone told me that you know how to resize sprites from 40x40 to 56x56. GIMP cannot do that as far as I know. Kamangir 03:14, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
