Pokemon 25 New Artwork
This may be more relevant to be discussed elsewhere, but I figured here is as good a place as any since it is relevant to Wooloo.
The Japanese Pokemon site had a poll of sorts where Twitter users posted a hashtag of a Pokemon's name in Japanese characters and this counted as a vote. The top 30 voted-for Pokemon from each region are now listed on the site. [1]
I noticed that while several of the Pokemon shown use one of their Dream World/Global Link artworks, others have brand new artwork done in this style but not yet uploaded to Bulbagarden archives. Wooloo was one such example, but others included Charizard, Lapras, Totodile, Dragonite, and Espeon. There are definitely more too.
I'm aware that the Pokemon Winter Fest online game added more, similar artwork for many Pokemon, and noticed that some of the entries on the poll results do use WF artwork (like Torchic). So it's possible that Bulbagarden archives are simply incomplete, and these artworks would be best classified under WF. Otherwise I would say the best classification would be to follow existing protocol and name them (as example) 831Wooloo Dream 2.png.
I'm not able to upload images myself as it appears I haven't been autoconfirmed. If someone gives me permissions I can upload some of the files I've noticed as being new, but otherwise someone else would need to do this. RadiantChaos (talk) 19:48, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
